  • The funny thing is the E-type looks like it would clear the barriere even if it's down.

  • paga, coño, paga!!

  • Clown in the motorway... Signed: a Spaniard

  • Minute 3:35, it is not just because of our language, there is to many reasons why the vast majority of Basques wants to severe ties with SPAIN. Independence is a legitimate and justifiable cause and BTW E.T.A, is not the conflict itself nor the origins of the conflict but RATHER the expression or the reaction against a much rather older, and longer dragging conflict and its unresolved issues.

  • What is the name of the song at the begining of this video?

  • you get a cocktil stick and go to the next one , aah*

    loved that quote

  • Jeremy shouldn't interview members of a political party that do not condemn the violence. You can't impose an ideology putting bombs, Batasuna shouldn't have propaganda and prominence on the media

  • @FCBARCELONAREMH democracy involves listening to bot sies. In the UK, we let the IRA's political wing (Sein Fein or however it's spelt) have their say, then we laugh. Same with the fascists over here. And the commies. To ban them is evil. To listen and then counter-argue is democracy.

  • I'm sorry i couldn't answer before 'cause i was in Manchester visiting my girlfriend who is studying in the university of Salford XD. There's a part of reason in your words but the members of Batasuna do not respect the spanish constitution wich is the fundamental law of the Kingdom of Spain since 1978. Apart from, the spanish justice proved that Batasuna was part of the strategy of ETA.The end does not justify the means.

  • @FCBARCELONAREMH I see what you mean. What I was saying was that over here Sein Fein (sp) hate the UK and our democracy but we let them have there say (gives us a laugh or two) even though they wont let us have ours. I dont neccesarily agree with basque independance though, dont really know how popular their cause is.

  • Yes i agree, fortunaly Sein Fein finished and it seems that ETA have left the violence too as they have recently said in the last communiqué. A new era start now in basque country, the independence movements are totally legal as we can see in Galicia, Catalonia and Basque Country, the only thing we can not accept is the violence.

  • @FCBARCELONAREMH totally agree pal. If you dont mind me asking, what are your views on it?

  • In my opinion regionalism have no sense in a Europe that someday should be united, we have to respect all the cultures and languages of spain but there are people that still think that to be a good spaniard u have to speak spanish love flamengo and love bulls (summary), i'm catalan i speak catalan and at the same time i'm spanish and i speak spanish with no problem. In my opinion the best political system in Spain is federal republic or a federal monarchy i dont mind

  • @FCBARCELONAREMH You make a fair point, and you express yourself well, but I'm going to have to disagree, if you don't mind, for the following reason(s): I believe regional culture is a lot more important than national culture, it harks back to tribal identity, in many cases, or what little we can remember of it, a nation is just a line on a map, and within the nation you will find many regional cultures, and my fear is that a fully unified Europe will be the death of that.

  • We all have this fear but it's something we have to overcome. I imagine a Europe with the same economic, judicial, labour and education system.I'm gonna speak very clear if we are not together we have nothing to do with China, Japan, India, US or Brasil in the future. We have to realize that nowadays we're not the center of the world. On the other hand i absolutely think we can not forget our own culture languages and folklore.so u are totally right

  • Fear is always a wrong road. In the 15th century when whole Europe though the atlantic ocean had no end and it was full of terrifying monsters, two young and just married KINGS thought it was time to explore plus ultra, in october 1492 some mad guys from south spain leaded by someone called columbus changed the history of Spain and Europe. We have to bet if we want to decide something in this world

  • @DarylJCheetham, I agree The fact is that in the history of Humanity NOTHING absolutely NOTHING has been solved by those whose only argument has been the discourse of NEGATION.

  • "Right! Where is the next one? Oh, Brilliant!"

  • safri duo rocks

  • 40% tax? Think I'll stay here.

  • why didn't he just drive under :P

  • The whole time he was arguing at the toll did anybody else notice that the windshield of the e type was lower than the barrier. He could have just drove under it!

  • Hi! Guys do anyone know the song at 2. 37, I really like to know. Thanks.

  • London was bombed by Zeplins before this Spanish attack wasnt it? Around 1915ish I thought? Perhaps He means on a mission to bomb indiscriminately.

  • @toyotasera55 It was the first aerial bombing with the specific goal of killing civilians, destroying houses and creating havoc, and the first use of carpet bombing tactics... I personally hate that to have happen in my country...

  • @Semeiron I will give you that it is carpet bombing, perhaps though he means by aeroplane in mass formation. London was hit before this though by airship bombing. ( Destruction levels were not quite the same though). On a side note, Blitzkrieg is not a strategy nor did the Germans create it, it was coined by an American Magazine, Jezza got that wrong.

  • @toyotasera55 truly blietzrieg sounds totally american.

  • @Semeiron Also, sorry that this happened to your nation, it is extremely sad. Respectfully.

  • @toyotasera55 the european union is poison for my country Germany we germans pay the biggest part of the bill for ireland, greece, italy, spain, portugal. and still do.when will it ends i want to buy something nice for myself or my family from my monthly income and dont want to pay for the stupidity of other european countries governments.

  • @TheHockeyfreak1964 but your are still one of the world's great economies, so if you want a better life you can puss your government for it. China is a very rich country these days but their people are still poor. personally i dont think that if there wasn't any crise in EU these money would go for your benefit. also all these money are loans, which means that they will be returned with interest

  • The real sponge now is Ireland? so Shut up

  • song at 3:32 ??? rather emotional :'(

  • Comment removed

  • Song at 0:09 please?!

  • well I'm spanish and I've lived afraid of ETA when I was younger, and I can't imagine when Jeremy saw what they did... I'm ashamed of those people who kill because of thinks that don't really worth it, like places, language....

I assure Spain is more than this...

  • And this is what pisses me of about those countries like Spain or Greece. I'm not against the people themselve but against their policy of exploiting the European Union for there welfare and luxury. They completly live over their standards and bury themselves in depths until it all crashes and we have to rescue them with an awful lot of money again...

  • he could have driven under that barrier

  • haha the jag would of fitted under the barrier

  • Socialism doesn't work. Proof: Spain. They're broke and poor.

  • @brianaquinas You are rigth,I hope socialists never govern again

About the video, there are too many topics...

  • @brianaquinas we are not broke and poor... you should live here to say that. There are millions around the world "broke and poor". And don't blame socialism, really, you have to live here to understand

  • @IantosCoffeGirl No thank you. I love the free market and how it works. When you rely on the government for your very being, you lose your self-worth and independence. "A government that is large enough to give you everything you want can also take everything you have."

  • @brianaquinas

1 month old comment I know.

1 spain isn't socialist, not even Venezuela es socialist.

2 Broke and poor? yes the people who don't have a job.USA hasn't been swimming in gold this last year...

  • @brianaquinas Look at Australia, really the only developed Western country not to be affected by the GFC, or even experience negative growth i.e. a recession, our dollar is worth more than the US and we are heavily socialist.

  • @kwapaz ahh dont forget germany the economic european powerhouse not to be heaviely affected too not like the USA

  • well...it was kind of vile of him...things aren't exactly how he is making them out to be...and calling all spanish people thieves and playing victim and generalizing...is just...really low.

  • @sdvk12345. Yeah, It's Novio by Moby. :)

  • that road is built with private capital!!!!!you are like sheeps beliving everything this man is telling you....what a pity...

  • its true

its completly unfair that we pay so much money in to the EU and we get absolutly fuck all back, its bullshit, the only good thing we get are free imports but even thats not worth 4,000,000 pounds or whatever it is were paying

  • Menudo gilipollas, se pone a decir en una autopista que el la ha pagado siendo que las autopistas se construyen con capital privado.

  • Why they speak with the spokeman of a terrorist group? Batasuna is just a public representation of ETA, and they don't represent the people of Pais Vasco anymore.

  • what a brit twit clarkson is sometimes

  • I bet he could have just driven under that barrier lolz

  • British earnt EU money is also spent in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary etc etc

  • jeremy should realis that payment highways are built by private companies, public highways, autovias, are free, even for british, or i should say englismen,

  • what's the song at 2:30?

  • what the song at 3:23 ..starts "can it be"

  • excuse me... beardy lol

  • Clarkson does make a very good point though..

  • A pathetic millionaire :)

  • If he ducked down he could drive right under that barrier. :-)

  • damn right =)

  • what's the name of the town near the beginning?

    bea ritz?

    bea riz?

    lol can't make it out

  • Biarritz, France :)

  • @HellwrathUK would you agree with him? From your experience - being the best place visited?

  • is called the city of humility, the quality of life and love stupid party

  • @FalafelSam Now the real sponge is Ireland, isnt it?

  • @FalafelSam Biarritz

  • 00:48 .. hmm is that woman on the beach naked? :S

  • @HellwrathUK no, if you look closely you can see her (admittedly very small and skin coloured) bikini.

  • @HellwrathUK No, that a bikini

  • @HellwrathUK nah, shes just wearing one of those skin colored bikinis. theres some shadowing near where the straps are on her shoulders.

  • @HellwrathUK No lol

  • Why you called Spain sponge of Europe?

  • Because Jeremy thinks they take a lot of money from the EU, more than other countries do.

  • Haha! thanks!

  • what's the title of the song on 8:40?

  • @HellwrathUK more than Ireland??

  • @HellwrathUK More than Ireland?

  • @HellwrathUK in Russia, the sponges there sucks you. =/

  • @HellwrathUK good ol' demagogy. this guy needs a college degree

  • wth did you HAVE to say that?

    wth is your problem?

  • Funny comment coming from an Indian...

  • LOL - EPIC WIN

  • @rickseph There's a new sponge. Greece! And don't forget the other "sponges" all the East European countries wich are in return of our money sending us their lowest kind of people, their criminals.

  • lol you took 40% of my money and built this road. xD

  • Whats the song at 0:00-0:21 and again at 0:42-1:03?
