Eh brudda, good try! Check out "Fun with Sando" and if ya want an explanation after that, send me a comment. Good luck and make sure to initiate with some forward pressure, but be ready to have your weight move back throughout the turn. Then, move back towards the front again. let me know what ya think!
i'm afraid I have to tell you that this is just plainly wrong. let aside that this is not "hard carving" in any meaning of the word, there is no reason for shifting your weight like 75 percent on the front foot, esp. not on toeside turns. nowhere in the turn.
it is helpful to keep your weight shifted to the front on heelsides, yes, and on toesides you shift it to the back.
that's also the reason why you slide on your toeside.
the rest is about rotation technique, which you don't mention.
There's no reason to keep most of the weight on the front foot. Sometimes a turn is initiated with more weight on the front, but keeping it through the carve it will likely make you skid the tail out. A board will carve just fine with your weight perfectly centered over both bindings.
i've just been checking out the video. It's cool that you've made this video to help people out with thier riding. I'm thinking of doing something similar.
At the end of your toeside turn, the tail of the board kicks around, this is because you have a little too much weight on the nose. If you don't move weight to the back foot slightly at the end of the turn then you won't create enough pressure to make the board grip.
dont u not want to put ur weight on the front? im pretty new to boarding but i went yesterday and was carving all day. i was using weight on my back foot.
not a really good explanation and carving on a park board, though possible is not something you want to be doing too often...it'll kill your knees, hurt your back, and you'll torque your board.
those freaking trenches other boarders make always trip me up when i snowboard or ski

@edfreen you put 75% on the front foot to initiate it. as soon as the tail kicks out you redistribute the weight to 50/50.

@VpY22 No, if your tail "kicks out", you're skidding, not carving. It looks like there is some tail skidding in this vid.

Just a thought. Don't mean to be pedantic.
