we all know its a soap opera but its what the soap opera stands for, American History. Guiding Light has been on air for 72 years and yeah its fictional but a lot of people don't feel comfortable meeting new people and use television as a way to find that comfortable place in their life. Imagine if fictional television shows were off the air for good, a lot of people would lose all sense of imagination!

I have to comment again, not only because I love this video & Guiding Light, but also to express how saddened & surprised I am that Crystal Chappell, especially, along with Kim Zimmer, Gina Tognoni & the amazing Jill Lorie Hurst, were not nominated for this years Daytime Emmy's. Maybe I am biased because it is the one show I truly love, & I am one of the many fighting to save it, but I think it is a very sad day indeed. Congrats to Daniel & Jeffrey though - deserved! Fingers crossed for you both
