I just persuaded the missus that we should take a drive down to Cardiff next week to check out some of these boards... I was thinking of the Cardiff in Wales. California is a bit far out to take a quick trip. It's a shame cause I think I've only ever seen a few wooden boards in the UK, none of them riden though.

i've been riding stand up on a body board (with out fins) for years, doing what these guys are doing. Type in Chris Taloa or Danny Kim, they were producing these kinds of rides on bodyboards back in the 80's.
The boards do look fun though. Can you make me one 46inches long , 20wide (like a slightly longer bodyboard) ? Would make a sick drop knee board.

After 50+ years as a surfer, I've come to the conclusion the surfboard design is about 20% technical and 80% talk. And nobody "talks" more than Wegener., at present.
