  • we're singing this song in chorus at my school only the words are different it's "toreador o please be on your guard toreador toreador. when you fight remember only this dark eyes are gazing on you and love is waiting you toreador and love is waiting you." but same music and what not

  • Had never heard this song in English before enjoyed.

  • Super Andy...sehr melodiös. Bravo!!!

  • Fantastic Andy! I love the Classical masterpieces, the more famous ones, and your rendition rates very, very high......Kudos! Maybe the Sextet from "Lucia" is next, I hope? Bravissimo.

  • Howdy ROBBY ~

Good to hear from you again! Was considering "Nessun Dorma" ~ surely one of Puccini's most interesting (& famous) melodies and rarely done by a lower voice!

Neither the Bishop nor your Priest has responded to our e-mails about a Texas Tour ~ are you in touch with them often enough to re-awaken their sponsorship?

    Very Best ~ ANDY

  • Love the bouncy rhythm sung by my favorite singer. Fantastisch!

    Love, Irmgard

  • IRMGARD~ Vielen Dank, liebe Frauchen, sehr schoen gesagt! ~ ANDY

  • Bravo, bravissimo! Interesting bass-register version in English, especially knowing personally that your French is on target. By the way, Andy, I am really tired of all the Three-Tenor spinoffs, the I-Can-Sing-Louder-Than-You-Can Show. Three Irish Tenors, now Three Teenaged Tenors,..., Three Hemorrhoidal Tenors? Could you find two more bassi almost as good as yourself and go on the road as The Three Basses (Gli Tre Bassi? The Three Lowdowns?...no-no-no on that one!). Hey, you'd be a sensation!

  • JIMMY ~

Your "Road To The Isles" and "The Road To Dundee" are both pure delights, your singing is full of a zest for life, a bright tenor tone and a love of song and ~ in this case ~ Scottish folk songs ~ here's to you: BRAVO !!

In the meantime, I have thoroughly enjoyed your exuberant comment(s) and, in fact, an Australian bass-baritone colleague of mine (in Perth) and I have "kicked around" the idea of a 2-Basses concert , similar to your suggestion ~ THANKS !!

    ~ ANDY
