im only 25 but i grew up fishing on the back of a boat with my grandfather listening to legends like haggard, jones, hank, patsy, loretta, jonny horton, and cash to name a few. He is gone now, but jamey bridges the gap of classic to modern. My grandfather was a drill sergeant at fort jackson and went to korea 3 times. He was a huge traditionalist. He would have loved to hear jamey.

I've played guitar off and on for over 25 years now. Right now my only guitar, a POS 12-string, is set up with a drop-D tuning. Whenever I pick it up, I play what I want to hear. Be it Marty's "Honky-Tonk Crowd" or some made up jam. And when I play in a guitar store, crowds normally gather.

It's so great to have what I consider "The Real Deal" put out music and do it their way. I have waited for an artist and record like this to come out foe many years. A true outlaw, the total package. I feel like i'm getting the best of Haggard, Jennings, Jones, Paycheck, Coe, just to name a few all rolled up in one deal. This is the best music to come out in a very long time.

I know the guy he is talkin to. His name is Brad. Can't remember his last name but he works with Sekret Service which I guess you could say is an umbrella company of Musik Mafia. He represents talent. He doesn't represent Jamey but they know each other through a FOX show that aired called "Nashville" which was a reality based docusoap. I thought the show had potential but FOX pulled it after 2 episodes. People in the music biz in Nashville all know eachother. Its a big "small" town.
