  • Brilliant

  • Do you think it's really appropriate to be showing kids a bloody decapitation? Nevermind teaching them a story about a god who commits such violence...which is also wrong to teach...but showing them the blood and everything???? Why do you want your kids to see that?

  • anyone who does work in the name of Ganesh, it will be successful

  • i dont understand something, why was lord shankar going into the bathroom? did he urgently want to speak to parvati or something?

  • I am definiltey not comfortable showing this animation series to my children. I am Tamil and my husband is Italian/Swiss. My two kids are blessed with beautiful brown skin. They ask a lot about skin color and why they have the color that they have and others don't. I am always on the look out for a good Indian programming with positive influence on my children. This animation has mostly light skinned people - oh what an annoyance!

  • @sweetgem111, you have a problem with the skin color, but not with the violence? You are just fine with showing your kids a man decapitating another person, and even the blood and everything?? Crazy!

  • nice movie!

  • Isn't it lord Shiva?

  • @manishaflower123 Hindu deities often has many names, that reflect different aspects of their purpose/personality.

  • the mind sees what it choose to see

  • damn

  • old skool

  • I can respond your cuestion MyDormantSoul

if the people believe in Jesus son of a carpenter, why don't believe in that gods?, they are poweful

  • What a load.

  • The Hindu religion is written in symbolic form. A while back I thought totally meaningless. A few years ago, I began to understand the truth behind the Hindu symbols, images and their representations, and discovered the true formula for the wisdom of the true path of veradeiro reality. Ganesh is a wise, among many qualities that can help us. There is profound logic in Hinduism, but you must really want the truth above the pre-initial concepts.

  • people actually beleive this?

  • People actually believe that Jesus sacrificed himself to save mankind from their sins? Have respect for the faith of others if you respect the same in return.

  • I'm surprised people believe any of the main religions of our world. Christianity is just as strange. I mean, these religions provide good morals and such, but factually, I am utterly flabbergasted that these stories are taken for truth. No offense, that's just my opinion, and I still believe in god, but just more as a life force or energy rather than a personification.

  • @MyDormantSoul Just to inform you however, speaking from the pov of a hindu, the religion in it's truest form is more of a way of life. "God" is more of a spiritual force. The stories or the icons that hindus pray to were originally supposed to be spiritual guides to form a path toward inner peace. It might be silly to some; as someone that came to adopt the religion instead of being born into it, I respect it. I just found your last sentence funny... in the context of what you were saying.

  • Anthropomorphism is at the very heart of every religion that exists in the world. Mankind has a need to put a face, body, race and even animal with the gods that they worship. Christianity teaches that we are made in God's image, however many faiths, except Buddhism and Jainism is completely the opposite. People need something to believe in through visual stimulation, the concepts are extremely ancient.

  • @MyDormantSoul, good point, but you know a lot of these religions really don't teach good morals. They advocate intolerance, fear, fear of others or the unknown, they teach the concept of "sin", punishment for wrong doing, etc....on and on and on...and then they call it good morals.

  • @RachaelCheeseburger yeah but they still teach forgiveness, equality, sharing, peace, and show what can be harmful and life and what can be uplifting in life. I'm as much apposed to mainstream religion as the next modern thinker, but I wont fully declare it a poison; though Islam may be an exception. What do you mean by the promotion of fear? I hear that alot but it all kinda seems vague. Is it fear of Hell? Fear of other religions?

  • I mean "expect the same in return" , I hate making typos.
