I actually LOVED Glitter! it was extremely underrated, just like Christinas Bionic album. Please Watch/Listen to them and not believe what the critics say. Most people missed out on a great album like Bionic because they believed the media and ruled it out completely!

I think Mariah voice is starting to get a little better then it was say "E=MC2" era. Easily her worst era vocally. But i think you could hear her voice starting to go downhill around "Rainbow" Personally i liked her voice best on "Daydream - Butterfly" albums but thats just what i think. Christina's prime was probably her first album she didn't strain then.

I think Christina has a lovely chest voice, but her belting register is no where near as good as Mariah's. Mariah has a great technique which allows her to hit these notes effortlessly. Mariah can add power to her voice if she wants (as seen with Vision of Love, Someday, Emotions, Make It Happen, Joyride...) and it sounds a lot more natural compared to Xtina. Xtina sounds too forced and 'scratchy'.
on the longest note, christina can hold it much longer than that, just because she didnt in burlesque does not mean that mariah is better...i still love them both though :)
Christina wins hands down. Much, much more power. Also has a much thicker, fuller tone that Mariah has never had. Actually, no one's had anything like it aside from Whitney.

Today Christina can sing better then mariah. But sense this video comporting them the same age. Mariah wins. Mariah voice is no were near as good to be, and even this album shows how good she was bake in her prime (Daydream era) vocally. Christina's voice is now starting to downhill and this video shows it^^^^

@BlackLightning20101 Well to be honest i have agree with what you said. And personally i do like Mariah voice more, I'm tied with music. I think Mariah voice is starting to get a little better then it was say "E=MC2" era. Easily her worst era vocally. But i think you could hear her voice starting to go downhill around "Rainbow" Personally i liked her voice best on "Daydream - Butterfly" albums but thats just what i think. Christina's prime was probably her first album she didn't strain then.

I believe Mariah's Glitter soundtrack takes it. I'm sorry, but the only reason Burlesque's album sold a lot was because Cher was also included in it. While on Glitter Mariah wrote or co-wrote on the ENTIRE ALBUM! Glitter is certified 3x's platinum! I believe Mariah has more vocal control than Christina and always will! Christina's voice would be WAY more enjoyable if she didn't yell her notes!

It's funny how both these albums/movies were the biggest flops of their careers, and both at (round about) 11 years into their career.
Regardless, Mariah's voice has always sounded more sonically pleasing. Christina's grates on me a little. If she stopped screaming and straining, she'd sound so much better.

I think Christina has a lovely chest voice, but her belting register is no where near as good as Mariah's. Mariah has a great technique which allows her to hit these notes effortlessly. Mariah can add power to her voice if she wants (as seen with Vision of Love, Someday, Emotions, Make It Happen, Joyride...) and it sounds a lot more natural compared to Xtina. Xtina sounds too forced and 'scratchy'.
