I have read many comments here about Tim Russert and really am amazed that nobody gets it...
he asked the politicians the "hard questions" and there is something there...he did what we need to be and should be doing, holding their feet to the fire and making them answer to us, after all we elect them and they are elected to "serve" the people, instead we let them be bought by the special interests and then we want to sit and bitch?
Come out of your Mc Mansions people and let's get active.
I'm glad that the family let the public be a part of this. I'm sure they're still dealing with it but i feel like we were allowed to mourn with them and that's always therapeutic. I watched MTP religiously and i'll miss Tim Russert. RIP and God bless.
It was an incredible version of Thunder Road, sadly I think he is a more gifted guitarist than Bruce. Watching this video it struck me how quickly most passed and with just a glance. We are so uncomfortable as a society about death. Rest in peace Tim. Peace to your loved ones.
I was saddened by Tim's death, and it's been really moving to see how many people were as affected as i was. I could trust his take on politics and that's not common.RIP Tim Russert.
You may be gone but you are never forgotten Tim !

What song did Tim's brother-in-law Tony play on his guitar at the end of the wake? I loved it but couldn't figure out what it was.
Thanks.
