  • Slay.zak not Slee.zak...but Lord love you anyways :)

  • Pretty cool, Peter!!! Very enjoyable. I live in Toms River, and visit Seaside often. Sorry to hear about "Nanny Sara"! At least she got to see the shooting. God bless her.

  • could u get OLTL behind the scences

  • On the location set, I was able to shoot, as it was our property, they were our guests.

At their studio, no photography is allowed.

  • Thank so much for posting this. Im 16 and I looooove OLTL. I'm a huge Sole (starr & cole) fan and I loved the Sea Side Hegihts scenes with them. Im so glad i found this video it was really awesome. And it looked like a lot of fun, it would be amazing to be there when they filmed. Thanks again for poted =)

  • are you my soulmate?

  • When I established my account, I qualified as a director, and at the time, you could post videos of any duration. Even though that program is no longer in effect, people like me still have the capability to post longer than the 10-11 minutes provided. I heard it is going to change back so that longer videos can be posted, but I'm not for sure.

  • thanks for responding, keep up the good work, it will be better for people if they had a longer perod of time like you.

  • howd you get over doing 11 min on ou tube. This is my favorite soap opera. Tae Nagago is back on One live to live My mom doesnt remember her but I do. I'm 35 shes watched it forever. Thaks for this video, it made me cry that I wasn't there. I'm from NY and been at sea side heights of course, and I missed a lot of the show from APr2008-Aug and this wass one of the scenenes I missed. Respond please.

  • Trevor was perfectly nice, but he didn't have a lot to say, and I didn't really get to know him at all. I just happened to have had better access to Kristen and Kassie, and they were just a little more open. Also, during the times that Trevor was filming, Kassie and Kristen were not in a lot of the scenes. If you notice, I was with them inside and Trevor was filming. Everybody on the set was pretty nice. The only time I was asked not to film was at the studio in NY.

  • thanks so much for posting this! You are so lucky! Kristen seems like a very nice person! Kassie too. I know that Trevor St. John is really nice off the set, but did he have any problem with being filmed.

  • They didn't seem to mind me making the film. I made no secret about it. Frank V. just asked that I not reveal plot lines and things until way after-the-fact. I waited until Starr gave birth!

I simply filmed things, and wrote the plot later, which is the reverse of the way many things are usually done.

Looking back, I don't think of it as pure luck, I believe people make their own luck.

I just was smack in the right place at the right time, flled a gap, like Evita says.

  • cool. Did you ever get to meet any of the other cast members like Erica Slezek, that weren't filming here?

  • Well, actually, when I went to the studio, I ran into Erica Slezak in the hall and said a brief hello. She was still in her robe. I also saw her getting her hair done. I saw Robin Strasser on set, and she was also in a robe, but I believe it was as Dorian, while Erika was clearly in her personal robe. It was the scenes where Addie was throwing herself at David Vickers, before their marriage, and when Jared confronted David at the door of La Boulaie. I saw it all be filmed live.

  • I also saw the airport set, unknowing that it was where Tina had made her triumphant return one day earlier. I didn't connect the airport to Tina's return until I saw it on tv. OLTL is filmed on a large sound stage, and the sets are built and taken down as neeeded. The lighting and equipment is very intricate, and when I see it now, I understand how it all works. I had always thought there was a permanent Llanfair, a permanent La Boulaie etc., but that is not the case.

  • The sets are permanent, but they are assembled and dismantled as needed, and stored in trucks. There is a different set-up for everyday, and as a souvenir, Brian O'Meara gave me the blueprints from that day, including what had been Tina's first set. I was on the set for about an hour and a half perhaps, but I clearly remember everything I saw. The funniest thing was that almost everyone working there recognized me from the location shoot a few weeks prior.

  • When I first got to the building, the hair and makeup girls were sitting on the front steps, and knew I was there to see Brian for a VIP tour, so they ushered me inside, to the dismay of the security guard, who was sketchy about my sudden appearance at the desk. A hot second later, C.J. Ferroni came down the stairs, calling me by name, and the security guard realized I was indeed who I was claiming to be.

  • I was first in the basement, where is Brian O' office, hair, wardrobe, and obviously Erika Slezak's dressing room. Second floor was the sound stage. Third floor were the editing rooms, Frank Valentini's office, sound and other things. I was a most fascinating experience.

  • the video was great i love kristen and brandon so much i wish i could meet her.

  • This Video is Great!

  • I envision artist things, but with the help ofJoe Verderosa, my media professional, it goes to another level.
