It's sad watching that back. What a tragic wasted talent Owen was. Ruined by injury, Houliier must take his share of the blame for overplaying him, plus youth coaches and perhaps Owen himself. Never realised his full potential, bit like Gazza in fact. A recurring theme in English football. THat was his greatest moment so early in his career. He had the world at his feet.
