@j919or Not sure, most scientists believe it was buried in a landslide. The cold mud would have acted as a preservative and the underlying permafrost completing the process by freezing the carcass.
"Mummifying," is a process quite easily done in such a cold environment.

Now, elephants naturally take very long to digest food. Since mammoths are their ancestors, we can assume they did too. After it died in the mudslide, the cold mud preserved it and the underlying permafrost would have frozen the carcass in several hours..
Another possibility is that there could have been a flash freezing.

Radiometric dating has been tested numerous times by comparing radiometric dates of things to non-radiometric dates. They have all produced excellent results.
While it is possible that the decay rates have not been perfectly constant, even changes of a few percent would have had dire consequences for the Earth. To imagine that it is off by a factor of 450,000 as required by the claims of the Young Earth Creationists is about as improbable as something can get.

However, this would have severe consequences. Every time an isotope decays into its daughter element a certain amount of heat is released. If the decay rate increases, the same total heat is released, just over a shorter period of time. Right now, this heat keeps the Earth's core molten.

No one is denying that the prophecy states that no one will ever call another city built on another location by the name Tyre.

Can you just tell me exactly how it is possible to be guilty of a crime that was committed thousands of years before you were born? Did God add additional pain to Jesus on the cross way back then to compensate for the sins he would plan for us to do many generations later or something? No, the serpent didn't lie. The "serpent" told Eve she would not surely die, and neither she nor Adam did. Yeah, I've heard the apologetics trying to explain that it was a spiritual death, or that they would've lived forever, etc. Not true. Nothing in the verse implied any of those possibilities. And the serpent told them they're eyes would be opened and they'd be as gods knowing good and evil, and it was true.

Btw, the serpent was not satan or Lucifer, which were two different things. Xians like to refer to the serpent as satan but it just isn't in scripture.
So the point is, god was terribly unjust in how he treated A & E, and us, since he was so loving & compassionate that he cursed us with O.Sin. And the whole business of blaming A & E for eating the fruit of the tree is highly suspicious considering that he put it right in front of them, then allowed the serpent to beguile Eve.

In my opinion, this story is a metaphor for loosing ones virginity, hence it's placed in the creation part of the bible, which is an amalgamation of creation stories.The innocence before hand, represents virginity, the talking snake represents a male phallus of course, the magic fruit is associated with Eve because it's her "cherry."
