I love bitters. If you can't find Angostura, there's Reagent's (something along those lines). Bitters are the best additions to martinis with the complements of a twist :D
in what section of the market did you find the cream of coconut? I was at wal-mart today and could not for the life of me find anything that resembled cream of coconut...
I don't know what wal-mart carries, but the stores I go to (that are 100% grocery stores) have a little section that has drink mixers, maraschino cherries, olives and the like. That's where they often have cream of coconut.
I've also seen it with coconut milk but I can't remember what section of the store that was.
Not really, I've never been to Australia. I'm sure they have all the big popular brands like absolut, smirnoff, etc.
Two days you can try, either go for the five time distilled vodka that's a good low price or ask the owner of the store what they suggest for a good brand of tequila, and that brand name doesn't matter... looking for 'good' product over "big brand."
Yeah, you were one of the folks I was thinking of too. There were a couple, a few sent e-mails directly. I always forward your comments on to Tito so they see some community interaction. They're a nice set of folks, really down to earth and "in the trenches" with the customer, they're not some fluffy marketing firm that just blasts product on the back of any magazine.

@mariussteaua88 I'm not one to really care about finger prints on a cocktail I'm making for myself. But if that's your thing, so be it! :)

If you think milk, coconut, and pineapple is a weird combo, try out the scoobie snack shooter.
Equal parts of: whole milk/half&half, coconut rum, pineapple juice, melon liqueur.
This is a very popular shooter.

found it at Target and almost did a happy dance in the aisle...wow 248 calories per 2 fl oz's that's insane!
dontbthatguy8 2 years ago
Don't read that... that's never a good idea.
However, I don't think I've seen a drink that uses 2 fl oz. That's a lot!

do you have to use coconut cream?

if you want it to taste as I describe I'd guess, but you can try an alternative plan and see for yourself. What's the worse that can happen?
