I'm from NY, and honestly, I think what he suggested after 3:00 is a great idea. F$%& those hills, bulldoze em. But before that, tear down the old factories in upstate that have gone out and aren't being used anymore. He's right too, because NY used to be a huge area of production til all the factories moved south (to save money on things like heating in the winter), then eventually to China.

He keeps contradicting himself. He wants to isolate NY but Obama wants a global economy and he supports the President. Everything is not paid for, the money is being borrowed by the treasury. There is a nutrition crisis and alot of that is that people can't or won't cook anymore. There is an education crisis because nobody can critically think anymore. Government can't fix that. It takes a change in the culture.
In America 26% of the adults have a college education, an all time history high. Education is doing fine.
The underlying reason because of which the rent issue is occuring in New York, is due to Rent Control. New York is the only state left with this. Look at midtown for example, everyone there is rich, but they only pay 400 dollars a month for rent. Because their grandparents handed down the appts to their kids, with no rent changing - causing others to pay more.

He seems convincing, its up to the people to think about who to vote for!! the world has already seen what has been done in the past and has anything helped in New York??? Mistakes have been make in the past, so why not make one more and maybe just maybe something positive can come out of McMillan!! Trying is the only way; here we have someone who had the guts to be ridiculed to help out why not give him a chance??!! What have you done, criticize from your computer because its easier??

who told this guy that an economy will fix itself. just hand everyone some money and its all fixed. that doesnt work. speding money will not fix this problem. heres how u can tell. get every dollar, cent, and american currency in the world and try to pay off the US's debt.. u cant because our "money" isnt worth the paper its printed on and credit cards people cant pay off. people spending money they never had. untill we become a country that produces again we will continue to fall.

This guy is a total idiot! But he's a character and people who find him funny, like me, have full right to vote for this fool. I never would, but dont bash on people that do because this is America and you should respect anyone and everyones vote. Even if its a joke of a vote. I know plenty of people who dont know shit about politics but go and vote GOP or Democratic across the sheet....is that smart?

I don't know man.. people didn't give Arnold Schwarzenegger any credit when he got elected governor, but he has done a really good job of changing people's attitudes about climate change. I don't live in the States actually, but he seems like he actually cares about the issue he's talking about right? He isn't doing this to become president, he's not using it as a stepping stone and picking issues he thinks will help him win.. he actually cares about this stuff.

right... you cant tell the free market what the price should be. you cant inefficiently subsidize rent to lower the demand & supply equilibrium point and expect to reap economic benefits. thats bad economics!

this guys slogan is catchy, but he doesn't have the faintest clue about how economics work. the government can't just give out blank checks to pay for whatever.... that money comes from somewhere ie. the taxpayer, which last time I checked, was the issue in the first place. he wants to create more programs that dole out money to citizens when they need to cut taxes, cut spending, and reign in the state's budget... good luck NY.

He keeps contradicting himself. He wants to isolate NY but Obama wants a global economy and he supports the President. Everything is not paid for, the money is being borrowed by the treasury. There is a nutrition crisis and alot of that is that people can't or won't cook anymore. There is an education crisis because nobody can critically think anymore. Government can't fix that. It takes a change in the culture.

In America 26% of the adults have a college education, an all time history high. Education is doing fine.
The underlying reason because of which the rent issue is occuring in New York, is due to Rent Control. New York is the only state left with this. Look at midtown for example, everyone there is rich, but they only pay 400 dollars a month for rent. Because their grandparents handed down the appts to their kids, with no rent changing - causing others to pay more.
