I grew up with the sox, went to games all the time, first game was against the yanks in 1986...I watched religiously till the strike of 97 and was so jaded I didn't watch baseball again til 99. Win or lose I wear my sox gear with pride and though I may not be able to tell you the Rex sox hit leader in 84 I live and die for my team...bandwagon fans be damned.

I remember watching the final out with my wife and they won on her birthday! I hugged and kissed her and jumped up and down. It seemed so surreal.
