That's why they used a lesbian theme for this commercial. Sure straight kids could interpret it that smoking is bad for them, but the target is gay youth.
@jordyboi76 Strides have been made in AIDS awareness, bullying campagnes in schools all across the country, and acceptance has been (slowly) on the rise. LGBT adults and youth have around a 40%-70% smoking rate. That's higher than the national average which is around 24%.
Smoking is a problem among the gay community. Just because it's legal doesn't make it any less of a problem. Smoking causes lung cancer and other problems of the lungs. It needs to be addresses just as much as AIDS.
