Do u have any video's of teratoma in adults? I got diagnosed when i was 19, and i can't find anything a mature person being treated.

Yes , some teratomas contain hair, teeth & bone .. one or more tissues .

My daughter was born with a very massive (and malignant) SCT. Good work on the video, although I'll admit I cried. My daughter is now a very healthy toddler, and we're lucky to have her.

Can you supply us with any useful data about Katelyn .. her disease history and the management till become good .

She had her teratoma resected at one day of age. It was 3 pounds, solid tissue mass & hyper vascular. She developed heart failure as a result. Once the teratoma was resected, the heart failure was able to reverse it's self, as it wasn't having to pump so much blood anymore. When we got pathology reports back, a Pediatric Oncologist took over her case & we watched her closely with blood work and many, many CT scans. She is still followed by an oncologist but just goes once a year now.

I was born with a SCT as well, in 1990, when there wasn't much info about it. I only just recently became interested in my condition, so I decided to youtube it and see what came up:) I am now 18 and perfectly healthy, just have had a few reconstructive surgeries. I'm so glad your daughter is now healthy and healing, Jade!

I am going to try to email you off list, I am in an online support group with members around the world. There are a few teen survivors in there right now. =) It is a good place to be.
