nice job! when i played, i killed emperor in about 9 turns without getting toad 16 and doing the minigame. guy had 9999 hp, firion had 9400, maria had 7000(ik, not much), and leon had around 6000. everyone had equipment i picked up from treasure chests/bought, and everyone had 999 mp. 15000 hp is really sad; i think the emperor should have 100,000+ hp. anyway, the emperor is easy, i bet every boss in ff2DoS mixed would easily beat emperor(in hp,atk,def,etc.). anyway good job killing emperor

I defeated the Dark Emperor in the GBA version in less than 2 minutes. I achieved this with a party half as strong as yours. All you need is the Blood Sword and any party just about can defeat the Emperor. All I am saying is that you wasted your time making your party this powerful as there was no need. All you needed was the Blood Sword as that is the Emperors only true weakness. You can defeat him in about 2 to 4 rounds with the Blood Sword.

Precisely. You can get all this equipment at the snowfield mini game outside of Salamand. You need to get a level 16 toad spell by one of your characters before you can get these items.

I find it hilarious how every comment saying this guy didn't cheat/hack has a thumbs down or 0. If you've actually played the game, you'd know that 9999 HP and 999 MP is pretty easy to do. In fact, as soon as the game starts, you can "level" grind that much easily making the game a piece of pie. Yes, pie. The cake is a lie.

And the Emperor used PK Starstorm. (Mother fans will get the joke)

He did great! It is legit; I'm sure he can vouch for it. BTW, once you level Toad up to 16, you have access to a new card mini-game which allows you to get multiple Masamunes, lest you think he cheated.

...Even if he did, who cares? I just spent 18 hours of my life on an emulator beating this game. If he can do it in less than that and save the time, more power to him.

btw the is a pretty doctored ROM. idk, but on my DOS for the GBA not VBA, they spell armour like armor not armour. btw why do you use restore at the beggining? Restore as in the item? What do you mean by restore? I dunno how many times I have to explain why the game isn't hacked. I can show you some hacked Emperor boss battles on YouTube if you want to compare. I can point out each and every hack in those videos. My policy is to post only legit videos and I stand by my claims.

Emperor Should be on 10F pandaemonium. you are on 9f. and plus when you use potions, it says "restore" in the battle box. why did you use those potions in the begginging when you had your hp full? ps, 4737655 was right about the floor thing. Look at other DOS vids. They are all on 10F. Xytarsx has a vid on the emperor and he is on 10F!!!

Well first of all like most of the people do I FRAPs the game on a VisualBoy Advance Emulator set to full screen with a 800x600 resolution. After the initial filming I redo the whole video in VirutalDub with full divix and MPEG-3 sound compression. That's the easiest way to make a good quality video. However there are some things you can improve over my movies.

Hacking? I already explained how to do that. Look at the below comments. You just have to keep one enemy alive in a battle and keep hitting your characters yourself and then kill the last enemy your HP and stamina will thus grow. The same thing is doable with spells you just have to cast them in one battle until you use up 50 % of your current MP pool.

There's exactly 35 patterns the game can have. if you play a lot and record all the possible ones you'll know when you outright how to do it without any errors.

It's the an airship game it's a snow craft game. You use a snow craft in some lands to the north and punch a combination of A+B's to enter the mini game.

I didn't hack my game. I power leveled my characters. It's an easy trick. It doesn't matter what source of damage your character are getting so I made them hit themselves thus their stamina and HP eventually grew to 9999 hp and 99 stamina.

You can do the same with MP but it takes alot longer, you have to loose 50 % of your current MP in a single fight.

It's easy just leave one enemy alive and keep casting spells on yourself until you loose 50 % MP then kill the monster and your MP will rise.

Leveling your sword skill to 16 is also similar you have to put all of your characters into back rows and make them swing. Since you can't hit anything using melee weapons from the back row you will keep getting MISS but your weapon skill will rise anyway. Getting as many Masamunes in the Snowfield minigame is also not very hard. There exist patterns in the matching game so if you learn them or have them somewhere stored you can get 0 misses and be awarded a Masamune each time you play the game.

Reaching 99 lvl spells and 99 lvl weapon skill is impossible without hacking/sharking.
