That's it???? That's all one has to do 2 be part of the muslim religion?? It took me 3 hours just to get baptized in a tub behind the pullpit....I'm not much of a swimmer. I was told that muslims believe that Jesus existed but was not the last true prophet. I don't know anything about Islam, I just go by what I see which is mostly positive on YouTube...I try and stray from the negative. Praying 5 times a day is pure dedication...not to mention courageous, especially in America.

sorry for the misunderstanding, that was my mistake, i sorry about that one, well its our praying is quite different, what happens is first they must wash their limbs,face hair, in a certain order, cleansing of the body also known as "wudu". When we ask god for help that isnt a prayer its a supplication after the prayer is done, our prayers usually require you to recite the words of your lord, each prayer require different repetition

@Thricearoundthecircl like see sunrise we wake up we pray 2 sets or otherwise reps called rakahs, which you must recite 2 chapters from the book in one repetition before you prostate to your lord, and every movement you must say your lord is great (allahu akbar), we pray to our lord 5 times a day, in which was lowered from previous prophets. The reason for prayer is to reflect and to stand at attention in front of your lord

Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent to the children of Israel. And before him, dozens of prophets sent to their people, to testemony the oneness of God. All these prophets came with the same message. Muhammad (pbuh) is sent to all mankind and not just to his people. Also, he (pbuh) came with the same message like the other prophets before him.

The Quran is still in the original condition as when it was revealed 1400 years ago. It is used by all Muslims in the original language, memorized and recited during daily prayers. A muslim in China, knows the same versesin Arabic as a muslim in Ghana, or Canada, or Spain or Morocco or Brasil. Question: do you believe in the creator of the heavens and the earth?
