@Jahjaga I disagree on Akward, dude was spry as hell himself in those days! But yeah most will forget how unstoppable he was! When you see this here you can see the falloff now clear as day on both of them! It needs to be reminded at times, but these dudes were quick as hell then lol.

This Dallas team shows a good comparison to last years team that won the championship. Prime Dirk and Prime Nash, only thing is that they didn't emphasize defense and played a run and gun game that was so popular in the early 2000s.

@cnl1213 Yeah their frontline was soft as hell then! Good points.  Spurs had a long team with D Rob and Duncan out there, which is why they were able in the end to wear you down. Do not forget Finley either though in there, he was sick for Dallas.

Dirk has really changed his game.......he use his body now more and it looks like he see the game a lot slower then when he was younger
