@ksajcatb The writer has said a million times she does not want Mer pregnant. Everyone kept asking for Mer and Der to have a baby and she finally gave in, she gave us Zola. I believe that's the best she will do.

Because I feel that it doesn't matter who the main character is b/c very often what makes great shows are the supporting actors many times the main characters are the straight men while the others add the comedy and drama, so Mer and Der are perfectly fine b/c it wouldn't be right for them to be w/ anyone else, and Lexi is fine where she is (she should be with Mark though :(
