The cussing became forced and got old real quick, actually. It got to the point where guys were throwing cuss words into promos just to try and get over, and with awkward results. If someone sucks on the mic they suck on the mic and there's nothing they can go about it and throwing cuss words in there won't help at all. Austin and Rock got over because they knew when it was effective to say shit like that. John Cena could start talking like Joe Pesci and he'd still fucking suck. Bottom line.
