  • Hi, have you already got the solution? Hope my experience helps. Innnovate wideband series uses the pulse width module, PWM, to control the heater and it causes a feedback noise to its power source. I took a video of its noise with my oscilloscope. Check my videos. This kind of noise causes IC to act strangely. If it was the reason, you can solve it by adding a capacitor, above 25v1000uF, to its power source. PWM noise is very strong.

  • @AndyOyamadaZ Thats cool I wish I had an oscilloscope. I fixed the problem through by just re-wiring the gauge and the controller and connected directly to the battery and it works fine now.

  • I'd get a laptop with a serial port and see if the Logworks readings are the same as the gauge. You can also change the fuel and then change it back and sometimes this clears things up. There is also firmware upgrades/downgrades that guys have been doing. The grounds are very important, probably the most important. You can also get a sensor from the parts store for around 50 bucks. Bosch 17014 for the LC-1. Make sure to calibrate it also. My car is fiberglass. I've been fighting this 2 nights.

  • Did you get it to work? E2 means the sensor is disconnected or the sensor or wire is damaged. Anyway if you drove the car w/o the sensor heating it propably alredy broke the sensor.

  • nice sound when the engine start.

    I love volvo 850

  • @SuperMilo4096 Sounds even better now with the full 3" exhaust.

  • you need to let the o2 sensor heat up all the way before you star the car!!!!!!

  • @mkiiiSUPRAturbo You do? Why?

  • @captBLOTTO dont listin to him he is dumb some people consider it bad because when you let the 02 heat up and then start the car it cools it really quick (bad) with the air from the motor

  • @mkiiiSUPRAturbo No you don't...If it is heated up before you start the car and condensation that gets on the sensor will fry it.

  • @lwstoe2 and = any

  • Did you change anything in Logworks? It could be thinking you are running something other than gas like alcohol or something cuz the numbers are different.

  • @lwstoe2 I dont even know how to change stuff in logworks and I dont have a laptop do that,

  • @captBLOTTO sorry the reply is so late....but if something is changed in Logworks like the car thinks its reading 02 levels for something like alcohol or some other fuel the numbers are going to be different. Remember all the sensor does is sniff for 02 that's it the gauge reads green so my guess is a setting is wrong. If you can't figure it out call Innovate they should help you.

  • Did you check the ground? I just installed one and my speed shop guy said to make sure the ground is good or you will see crazy shit!

  • @lwstoe2 I checked it and the ground seems fine.
