  • awesome :D

  • He has a... RUNNY NOSE!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA

  • hahhahahahaha XD

  • He manages to make "taste nothing at all" look like "tastes pretty freaking good"

Now I trust none of his food-yummy faces :)

  • So... it's like a pancake sandwich?

  • These turned out really cute. Is there another filling that can be used? I genuinely can't stand anko. x.x I've actually tried it several times and with different amounts of sugar, and I don't like it!

  • @limalicious you can use the custard cream he makes a a filling :)

  • @limalicious maybe you could make it with chocolate. Just cut some chocolate into fine pieces and use it instead of the beans!

  • @oscarscheepstra Ooh great idea!

  • SNEEZE....XD

  • thumbs up for ending!

  • No, i can´t...

I don´t know what to do..

I´m not enjoying this, because i cant taste anything...

    :D

  • JUST LIKE WATER.

  • Bless you~

  • LOL runny with a runny nose ahahha. very nice :)

  • whats the song called that starts at 6:30?

  • AHAHAHA! The end is the best part!

  • YOU ARE SO CUTE!

  • i started laughing when u said runny nose cause i immediately thought of runnyrunny has runny nose :'3

  • oishi!

  • Your house's background music prompts me to believe that you live in a fusion between the Animal Crossing and Golden Sun worlds.

  • ANKO !!!!!!!!

  • hahha so cute

  • One more question, why do you take foams out whenever you are cooking? is foam bad? if so why? Please answer this question, always curious why you do that .

  • @KoreanMale12 i think the reason because all the bad stuff or like the dirtiness of the food is released as foam, so you take it away to keep the water or soup base, etc clean :)

  • @KoreanMale12 Skimming out the foam gives you a better looking food. In a lot of cases the foam adds bitterness to the food, so it's a good idea to not let it build up too much if you can.

  • @KoreanMale12 Foam in cooking can alter the taste, texture. Removing it is a small task but it'll improve the quality of the taste in your food. You're not going to get sick if you don't remove foam but it's better to do so..

  • @KoreanMale12 japanese are usually taught to remove foams when cooking. we believe they taste bad or give kinda bitterness to the dishes, thats why.

  • @KoreanMale12 - I think it's usually a texture or clarity thing, although skimming the scum off the top of the beans is probably also done to get rid of whatever impurities might have come off the beans when boiling. It might also affect the taste.

  • @KoreanMale12 According to Runny in one of his videos, it's done to keep the food clear (if it's like soup) and also, leaving it on some foods leaves a bitter taste.

  • @KoreanMale12 i assume it is to prevent the water to boil out of the pot. i tried to take out foams when cooking the porridge, and no more BIGGGG bubbles... =D

  • @KoreanMale12 Foam is bitter.

  • @KoreanMale12 usually i see they remove to prevent bitter tastes?

  • Runnyrunny999, I would like to be a friend of yours in Youtube, is there anyway you can send me an invitation? I don't know how to send a friend invitation to someone.

Anyway your videos are very kinky ( Japanese way ), organized, and I can feel your effort on each video except the beginning videos in 2008 lol( dog, HD test, etc.. haha).

Keep up the good work, I actually tried omurice with your method, it's good. Appreciate your effort.

  • @KoreanMale12 - you see your channel name on the right top side ?

click on it, click "inbox", click "Address Book" **at bottom right* , click "New" **on the right side, on-top of "All contacts", a drop-down will appear **written "Contact..." on it* click on it, enter the name of the one you want to add **in this case, "Runnyrunny999" on the "Username" one* then click "Save"

you sent the invitation =3 ~

the new YT is confusing, yea I agree OTL

  • you used powder sugar in this video. can i use regular grain sugar instead?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm happy because I know that you can't lie. :D

  • Laughing so hard at the tasting part XD

  • now i know how did you get your youtube name. XD

  • I want to know why they call it "Cooked right now river" ... Yeah no idea how to directly translate Imagawayaki. Any explanations? XD

  • @HowAboutLauren Imagawayaki began to be sold near the Kanda Imagawabashi bridge during An'ei years (1772 - 1781) in the Edo period. The name of Imagawayaki originates from this time. I think that's the explanation. Don't directly translate the name (especially through google translator, it will give you giberish meaning :D) but i recommend research on the name.

  • @HowAboutLauren Translating desserts is pretty simple; It's not necessarily 'translating' persay, but what would you call "imagawayaki" in English? Describe it. I think it would be custard cookies, or maybe anko dumplings. XD Like matcha ice cream is just green tea ice cream. Hope that helped! ^^

  • I was making the food while watching this and at the batter part I had a 'Mission Complete!' face cuz I suck at math but was trying to convert grams to tablespoons etc. and then he says 'If you dont want to do this then you can just use pancake mix. FAILURE face came soon after.

  • hahaha, i laughed so hard at the end !

  • why does everything in japan have a ki at the end

  • @yenspandas not everything... usually when food has the word yaki it indicate that the food is cook in a frying/stir-fry/grill manner.

  • My favorite, Chinese Jasmine tea, taste like water, LOLS!!!!!

  • Why is Foam bad? You and Cooking with Dog do it. I'm so confused XD

  • Comment removed

  • @MissSallyCabbage the foam is the protein in the food. allowing the foam to stay in the pot increases the food's chance of spoiling. i dont know how tho :\

    go google it

  • @MissSallyCabbage i heard from some people that its the excess of boiling. its bitter.

  • KAWAII!!!! intro is so cute,!

  • I made these!! My finised product wasn't bad... I thought the dough part was a little stiff/heavy. Alteast a little more so than the japanese ones I had in Japan. • Ahh i remember eating those since i was 5!! ohh and it just makes me laugh my ass off when some american person trys to cook our food it just shows how much amazing our cooking is! SWAG= Something We Asians Got!

  • I went to a Asian market/restaurant before and a lady was making this but with Oreos in the middle. It's was yummy. :D

  • Hahahha the end (: you so funny haha and RUNNY nose very funny runny runny!

  • your video makes me hungry and i felt like eating food

  • Why skim the foam?

  • @femalephantomdimes5 foam from dried beans has toxins that can give a bitter taste.

  • @waytooschoolforcool Is it harmful to eat?

  • @femalephantomdimes5 some would say yes, but many, many people skip this step and live long, happy lives. i think in a recipe like the one in this video, where the flavors are delicate, it is an important step. if you're making a traditional american bean dish with onions, ham, and other strong flavors, it is often skipped. :)

  • i hate it when i cant taste my food =(

  • I love the ending so much!!!

  • Ahh, I just tried making this... Not sure what I did wrong, but I needed about 100 ml more of milk for the batter. I don't recommend doing this without a mold, either. x_x At least it was tasty.

  • @acmulhern In the US we call that a French kiss. XD And I agree, he is adorable. :)

  • @HaganenoHanyou i know :)
