I don't disagree, what I am talking about are some of the bugs and glitches that can end your game or corrupt saves, it happens with every game but these could easily have been fixed with some testing.
@TheMasterofsun14 It's been a while since I played, but I'm almost certain it does. As I recall there's a keybind to switch back and forth between 1st and 3rd person perspective at any point during the game. I always played in 1st person -- I felt that sacrificing some FoV was worth the increased scare factor...
@TheMasterofsun14 ya it does except when you get knocked down (of course i only played the demo) ex: impale charge by slayer. pounced onor grappled. blown up.die.
oh god does this game rock!!!!! i used to own the first suffering, which was badass enough, but i've never seen ties that bind. Silent Hill ain't got shit on Suffering!!!
.......this happened must have happened before torque went to that island ...wouldint this be the 1st time he been to prison?.....then in carnate its the 2ed.......wherre can i get this download for PC plz tell me
@waluigiland Ties That Bind is a sequel to the first Suffering game, but the first 'prologue' level (the one that's shown in this video) is flashback, showing Torque's time at 'Eastern' (a prison Torque was incarcerated at before Carnate, referenced to by Dallas in the original game).
MANN it was weird to see torque get his ass kicked..
i mean..
i look at torque as almost a super hero in strength and abilities.. hes an unstoppable killing machine in the first suffering.. this is just weird lol
I have a problem with my game graphics ( not a big one but still I know that it isn't supposed to be like that ) objects light up when I turn to them or just randomly and the others are still dark. It's nothing big but still is there a possible way to fix this? I have all the requirements - graph card and everything else, it works tough I would like to fix it somehow. Thanks
Man, believe me my intelligence is high enough to know that isn't his flashlight! :D I will try and maybe make a video so you see what is the problem.
And I see that some things here aren't in my game, like the red light when going down the stairs, some lights are missing where they should be etc. My graphics card is fine ( 64mb :D ) but anyway I need only 32 here. Please help me if anybody got a idea how to fix this.
Torque's racial identity is deliberately kept ambiguous. The developers have specifically stated that they tried to model him as a generic 'cro-magnon man'. It is really immaterial to the story. I don't know what information Halfer1 is privy to but I have never seen any evidence that would lead me to the conclusion that Torque is Caucasian. Since Torque's evil side (Blackmore) is clearly African-American then one could reasonably conclude Torque is black (or perhaps simply extremely racist).
I don't see what 'nerds' have to do with anything. What I meant by my comment was that if you were going to Criticize the Suffering for bad voice acting, you would would also have criticize the other games I mentioned, because by all metrics they have significantly 'worse' voice acting (and yet are still exceptional games because of/in spite of this). The great thing about audio is that if you somehow feel it 'ruins' the game you can always turn it down/off.
Nope, the monsters are real. The only thing torque imagines is his metamorphasis. Dr Killjoy made the diagnosis on him, but other than the whole 'creature' thing, everything is real.
I just cannot beat Blackmore in the final scene of this game...he absolutely thrashes me every time! Love both games though, they're amongth my favourites but for some reason are very under-rated...does anyone know if a The Suffering 3 is planned?
this game scared me to the point where i just cut it off but now i want to try it again but the part where this boy runs up to you and then this giant creature pops up is really scary which is why i love this game!
Just got the game and just started the "Denial Of The Fittest" area.Geez this game is creepy. And here I thought the first one was odd(in a creep~fest kind of way).OK..back to playing. This time with the lights out.
Both of the Suffering games are available for the PS2, the Xbox, and PC, to the best of my knowledge. I am playing the PC version of Ties That Bind in these videos.
The origin of the creatures in The Suffering games is never really explained. They are all symbolic of various kinds of human torture and abuse that have have existed through out time (Slayers represent beheadings, Marksmen/Triggermen are an obvious referrence to gun violence, The mainliners a more ambiguous reference death by lethal injection or perhaps drug abuse). How they have come to exist in the mortal realm, centered around Torque's story in particular is something of a mystery.
Hey men! IM STUCK NOW!!! its actually after this part of the game, when he get outy of that room and thar girl is crying u know, and i open the door this two beast exploited and thats it, i get trap in that place. The fella is up and he says " I GO CLEAR THE WAY!" or somthin like that, and he just stay in there ... If you can help me i apreciate :)
Ever? Yes, I beat Ties That Bind when it first came out, but if you mean in this video documented playthrough, no I never completed it. Due to a rash of recent comments, I've decided to upload the rest of the TTB videos to youtube and may resurrect the project in the not too distant future.
Ties That Bind is a sequel to the original title. If beginning seems anachronistic to you it might be because you got a different ending on your playthrough of the original. If you play Ties That Bind on PS2 or Xbox with completed Save data from the original game, it will read that data to figure out which ending you got and modify the opening sequence in Ties That Bind accordingly.
I assume you're talking about the level 'The Hardest Homecoming' where Torque goes back to his apartment. If I remember correctly, you just have to go into his bedroom and get a few notes out of the closest, and then go into the bathroom for a cutscene. Dr. Killjoy should then appear on the TV in the living room.
i like how this is placed in baltimore. the game has a good dialogue. but well kind of hard they dont like point you to where you have to go to get outa like a dead end area.
Blackmore AND Torque is supposed to be the same like Blackmore is Torque and Torque is Blackmore. Watch the bad endind, i think it is, and you see that Torque is Blackmore.
Iam not really sure. i know what sex is but my parents don't want me to get games with it but yet i see movies with sex in it like 300 i guess my parents don't want me to see alot of sex because they probaly think iam going to look at porn. but some games marked sexual themes i want to get like that prdator video game or metal gear solid 3 which only has a lot of kissing and solid snake staring a t boobs
I think u can get this game on pc for free now!~
