  • yes i got 144 on that aspie test i am 49 and a christian and i sing and play handbells i write alot to about child behaviour and i am a radio ham .. jeff ..

  • @petchharrison We have much in common - :)

  • My son was diagnosed with Aspergers. As this is genetic, I suspect that I am an aspie too. I have the same traits and I am awaiting testing/diagnosis next month. A person with As once said that autistic people have their wires crossed and people with AS don't have their wires well insulated. I survived law school and became a lawyer. However, it has not been easy. Most AS sufferers tend to obsess with certain things and topics. Jesus is a good person to focus on. He never fails.

  • @Jossher700 Aspergers really isn't a handicap if the person with it can learn to use it to their advantage. Being diagnosed so late I already had coping mechanisms I developed over the years, but I can now tweak them knowing how 'As' has affected me. For instance - I have always been my own worst advocate - but now I know I have to push through it like a runner running up a hill and if I do I can overcome that trait. Im praying for you and your son... I hope 'As' becomes a blessing for u both.

  • @christoferL Thank you. God bless.

  • This is one of the better aspergers videos on Youtube. Believe me I've seen a lot of them. I'm an aspie too.

  • My Aspie Score: 160 of 200

My NT Score: 40 of 200

    I'm very likely an Aspie

  • So did you ever get any follow ups on this for yourself Chris?

  • @waltherchemnitz Yes! I am actually seeing a psychologist about this

  • @christoferL Then you and I have something more in common that Christianity. I have AS. Found out 6 months ago. My mom had the same thing, though undiagnosed... Scores are even higher. Have you taken the Empathy and eye expression tests yet?

  • can aspies stim like autistics?

can an aspie walk around aimlessly looking up rolling there eyes or flicking there fingers? or is this more likely a seizure?

if someone did this who you thought was normal or nt what would you recomend.

i mean this guy at work makes me wonder if hes not autistic

  • Much of those question where kinda..weird, don't count on this test to much.

  • Your Aspie score: 112 of 200

    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 69 of 200

You are very likely an Aspie

    My score from the test.

  • This is what I get, I am still awaiting diagnosis.

Your Aspie score: 152 of 200

    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 49 of 200

Most doctors render me a non-aspie because I have eye contact......However I am going to ask for another referral. Never before had I read up on a condition that described me in a nutshell so much.

    Thanks for the video.

  • @MrSqueek2010 : my Aspie score: 146 of 200 not far behind lol

  • I've also read that INTJs have alot in common with people with Aspergers. (or are perhaps even one in the same (but that's a bit of a stretch imo))

  • ='(

Your Aspie score: 120 of 200

    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 83 of 200

You are very likely an Aspie

  • @Mk1615 I wouldn't put a lot of stock in it... but I do know my results made me reflect on myself and I realized, shoot - thats me! Treatment isn't really an option. There are therapists trying to help patients learn coping mechanisms I suppose... there are meds if people can't handle the over all pressure Aspy's often feel.... but for me, there really isn't anything to treat. I can't be turned Neurotypical, ya know?

  • @Mk1615 Thats a good question... perhaps those have some influence?

  • God bless you for this guys, this is going to help many out there... Great job.

  • Great video. Thanks for sharing!

  • Hmm...maybe that is one of the reasons you are often misunderstood here on YouTube. But I haven't ever had that problem...so its just a guess. My Aspie score is 37. Guess I'm normal.

  • My test said "You answered inconsistently on too many control questions"

Hah... so... some of these things I might be, some I might not. Some of these things in the questionnaire I see clearly in other people(like my fiance').

I'm not worried about this much though... I seem to have a lot of these types of symptoms, but it was more of something I learned and brought myself into rather than I was born with.. I broke out of social inability years ago, and it worked, but I was still in my head

  • Great video. Thanks for sharing

  • Sounds like an interesting way to eat a hamburger

  • Diana: "everywhere I look, I am surrounded by aspergers" Chris: "She's a magnet for us." LTIC!!! I dont know why that cracked me up, but it so did!! Personally (speaking as someone who once carried 5 mental health diagnoses), I dont think disabilities are dibilitating, you just find a way of coping, with it. Kinda like a one armed man, he will always be a one armed man, but he learns to write with his left hand. :p

  • Chris and Diana, you have no idea how many this video has helped. I know of someone that I shared this video with that is shouting for joy. This person was like "THAT EXPLAINS MY SON"!!!! Thank youuuu! If you feel led, please follow with more vids on this subject. Thank you again! GBU

  • @MLove4Christ I hope it does help some find some answers.

  • Thanks for sharing this. May you be blessed.

  • Your Aspie score: 102 of 200

    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 109 of 200

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

    Hummm.. interesting lol

  • took the quiz and it said Im very likely an aspie lol

  • @tumbleweedsback You may be... but if you are - its good to know 1) You aren't alone and 2) It isn't a handicap (least not in my opinion.)

  • Thanks for this video. It's very honest and candid.

  • Hi Chris. Long time no see.

Just so you know it's spelt Asperger's. Named after Hans Asperger.

  • @flergalwit FLERG! How have you been man?

  • Hmm, maybe I have Asperges. Very interesting video, bro.

  • I've got aspergers. My focus is music, art and furry. On a side note, I'd like to see the link to that aspie test.

Also, I lol'd at the phrase "neurotypical." Almost sounds like an insult or something. XD

    We're "neuroawesome," I guess...

  • Thanks for posting this, bro. It's very informative.

    God bless

  • Beautiful girl. Bless her heart. All children are a blessing from the Lord. You are truely blessed.
