@11cutiepop that's fine. After you start singing more, you'll get used to the voices. when i was younger, there was a barbie song that really helped me with those higher and lower voices. It was called 'I need to know' from the Island princess. It may be a little cheesy but it really helps!

@11cutiepop As others are saying, the background singers are there to help the sound harmonize. So if they're out of tune...you're out of tune. Don't plug your ears-then you can't hear yourself sing! Pay attention to the key in and compare it to your key. Sing the song acapella a few times to get the feel of it. Hope that helps!

@kokym8 @amyexpertfan11 the backing vocals aren't supposed to be at the same tune to the lead, they are the harmonies to give the leading vocal's voice extra coolness! haha, if you can't sing with backing vocals harmonising with you, you need singing lessons, because it sounds so much better with them if you sing at the right key !
