There is no direct upgrade path, so you will need to do a full re-install. I'd just copy your important data and note which applications to reinstall.
El mejor windows que he podido usar jaja. Magnifico rendimiento con magnificos graficos, esta vez microsoft a echo un buen trabajo. Live Amd/ATi y Windows 7!!
Nope, infact wow seems to run better. build 7000 comes with directx11 (pretty sure anyway, may have been 10, ill check when i'm home), and wow alt tabs absolutley instantly, maxed out fps on my hardware.
Where do you get Windows 7?! If it's not free how much is it? Is there a 64 bit version? How is the compatibility? Do all games work just like on Windows Vista?
windows 7's release is far from now, which is actually around 2010-2012. Only developers were supposed to get a pre-beta of it, but, however, somebody was nice and somebody made an iso. It's free, but in the future it won't when it's actually released. Games can be played on Windows 7. INFACT all programs compatible with Windows Vista are compatible with windows 7. Windows 7 is just a slimed down and improved vista.
Oh, i forgot the second part. I never used vista extensively, but it feels very quick and smooth, particularly after I started using readyboost. Its as quick as xp in most cases.
Yep, atleast my ati 4800 graphics drivers worked just dandy. Infact, it seemed to have native support, but I wanted the overclocking GUI, so I installed the driver package, and it worked dandy.
This is awesome
I LOVE WINDOWS 7

Actually build 7000 is the beta and the final build will be released between July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 (both according to Wikipedia).

Hey, does the demo cd have a native option to install the O/S separate from your existing one, where you can switch between the two on startup?
MattUNI2001 3 years ago
Yes, I believe it does.

And snipping tool is also in windows vista
derguru1245 3 years ago
Never used build 6956 or vista. :D
moniker127 3 years ago
Well, actually, not true. I've used vista, but only to figure out why someone's "computer is slow and busted" or to shut it down and install xp pro.
