  • ones a can opener ones a bottler opener.

  • You know, I have to say that I really appreciate how you don't need 15 minutes to cover the information. You get straight to the point with little exposition and you cover everything I wanted to know.

  • How much for this bro????

  • @futurewrestleler About $70.00 on Amazon.com

The price might differ depending on where you buy it.

  • What about the legality of these things? So many states have laws against any sort of assisted blade. I got a distinct feeling that while these might be ignored for now, the laws on the books and wording of those laws would allow for a crack down on these and other assist opened blades at any time.

  • I have it with the brown leather and it's fantastic. The leather is nice and high quality and is a bit softer then the hard nasty ones that come the the leather man super tool 300

  • I can't believe it I grew up 5 miles away from the SOG factory. Pretty Sweet!!!

  • Just bought one of these for Christmas! Ordered it off Amazon for $66. Can't wait to get it!

  • i just bought one online to bad the online store i get my stuff from only had the leather sheath kind

leather looks nice but doesn't last

  • Is the leather one bulky?

  • actualy the site i bought it from sent me the nylon sheath instead of the leather so i couldn't tell you about the leather one but the nylon one is great

  • @ZuluComander Leather can last forever, and I think it's got a lot better feel than the nylon. I've got four SOG multitools, three with leather sheaths, and one with the nylon. One of my leather sheaths has seen HEAVY use, and I've had it for more than five years. I've worn the leather in the rain and in the desert. I think synthetic stuff is just hype; it's cheaper for the manufacturer, that's it.

  • @purzheen Synthetic materials are also good if you oppose the killing of animals. I see no need to kill an animal for a tool when a much more desirable (in my opinion) material, synthetic, can be used. Everyone's different. That's why different materials for these things exist.

  • yea but on the fabric one the seams rip after a few years.

  • B66N comes with a Nylon sheath. B66 with Leather. Same price, just a matter of preference.

I'm about to try a B66. I've been carrying a Leatherman Blast for a few years, and I really like it, but I want the B66 for the fact that the knives open without opening the pliers.

I've been a knife fanatic all my life, and I am only interested in quality blades. Can you tell me what kind of steel they use in the B66 knife blades? The Leatherman knife blade is nothing special, but the tools are great.

  • Great review, I want one as well, dunno when I will get around to buying one, to many other knives and such in the que before hand, but I still will someday!

  • I really want one :)
