I just came back from my honey moon and we stayed at the RIU palace, we loved it, It was all inclusive and the food in the restaurants was great, the bar inside the pool is awesome, and the customer service is excellent. can't wait to go back to Aruba!
look RIU is a new hotel HOTEL not RESORT this hotel is like an arabian one its cool outside but inside it sucks they ahve a beach right infront of the hotel their pool is BIIIIGGGG .
i really dont like the RIU i really dont like hotels i prefer resorts and i like more costa linda resort
I went to that hotel! I came back home about a week ago. It's a Riu! Riu's rock! I was in building B on floor 9. I've also been to Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexcio and Riu Cancun in Cancun, Mexico. Riu's rock! This one was my favourite. I highly recomend this hotel and other Riu hotels to everyone!

Ok, I just arrived from Aruba and I think I know what you mean. The hotel you mean is the Reinassance, which has a private little island that you can visit regularly if you are a guest in that hotel, but also if you're not staying there you can pay 75$ and you can enjoy the island for one day (one lunch included). Also there's another possible excursion to another island called "De Palm island", which is cheaper and very good for snorkeling. I think the RIU does not have a private island.
