I've recently came across your videos. I really like them and you make a show of Skill that is very impressive.
A long time ago, I watched a show a video on amazing shows of skill. There was this man trained by the Chinese Government to assassinate people using nothing but small Pin needles. He said he never used it on a person, but he showed he could put these small needles through two inches of Glass. I was curious if you have ever tried throwing on such a small scale?
Like always, Suzuki Sensei, this is amazing! It's really annoying when idiot ninjers try to copy and imitate your skill. These things take lots of dedication and effort to do.
I agree. With scientific research, we can understand things in a deeper level. In a way, I think that's why history and culture/tradition is so important in martial arts (and other things of course).
Luckily, people who try to imitate usually lack these type of information :)
Thanks for making this video highlighting your past achievements. It's a great reference for those of us who need lots of help figuring out how to throw well.
you show a level of skill almost equal to mine.Great throwing!!

I saw your throwing in rain.It is splendid.

@Lastknownuser
I am not interested in such skill at all with plural reason.
1-An enemy in a such short distance can avoid it if you produced such a large movement.
2-Moreover, a needle can't go through clothes, and it isn't given damage.
3-I watched case doing a trick.
4-Even in case of it isn't a trick, and specification about materials of glass doesn't exist.
A lot of type glass exists, therefore, hardness of glass can't decided only by thickness.

2-
If person having a moderate physical strength, it will be possible.
In other words it isn't Ki and special power.
It is "glass" that is special.
At first,
please try by yourself before ask to someone.

Thank you.
Of course, a lesson is necessary.
However, the effort which elucidated principle needed time than it.
My principles are so.
___A scientific search about throwing skill=70%, and effort of Practice =30%___
Because we/you don't improve even if continue merely practice, when there isn't scientific posture.

Thanks, but, at 3:30 was more difficult.
Diameter was 10mm at 4:32, but 3:30 was 8mm diameter.
Moreover, 3:30 stuck by very very difficult angle.

@HouzanSuzuki Both were good throws ^_^.

also suzuki sensei i could not find that brand of rayu in america. we have many varieties but not the one you showed.
scottbaioisdead 1 year ago
@scottbaioisdead
That Rayu may not be exported yet.
It is Rayu having sweetness in hotness.
However, because I am sure about material, I can make by myself.
Originally Rayu is hot seasoning.
But that Rayu was coordinated it by the taste which can eaten to rice and Ramen.
Btw, Thank you for A san's mail address.

Ernie san,
Thank you.
Now I am making text to teach my system to several students in Japan.
Those are the technic which I am not publishing in You-Tube.
But, basis is the most important after all.
I think that secret except basis doesn't exist.
Japanese martial arts have the following established theory.
All secret exist in having studied most first from a teacher.

It is very difficult that I do these skill for Guinness record.
Because Guinness record can challenge only three times.
These are result of the challenge which I threw about dozens of times.
However, most skill succeeded in less than 80 throwing.
8 throw is most earliest case that I succeeded.(6:15)
However, on the other hand,
there is a cese that I failed 377 throwing(1:26=) lol.
It was really difficult to stick shuriken in hole of 1 ㎝ from 11m.
