those tunings might be right but just tune it standard and tune the G to an A, and tune the D to an E. You can play it much easier that way. Then just drop down the strings until they match the record. Easy !

Sounds perfect!

He taps the harmonics (with plucking hand) at the end of the intro tho, it flows better. Just hit the 12th fret bar (the higher end)12th/13th. Not trying to be patronising if you knew how to do this already. :)

Newton Faulkner uses a bunch of tunings but this song is in DGDGAD

Tune the 6th string down to a D using the 4th string

then the 2nd down to an A using the 5th string

then the 1st down to a D using the 6th and 4th strings

then the 5th down to a G using the 3rd string
