I first met GLORIA GAYNOR in 1980 when she played a club in Orlando, Florida. I was producing and hosting a TV show called "Greg May's Central Florida Spotlight". Gloria gave me an interview just before she stepped out onto the stage. She was so sweet and gracious. Fifteen years later, she returned to Orlando for another club date. Just before she sang, "I Will Survive" she told the mostly-gay audience what Jesus Christ did for her. She received a standing ovation.
