@serenaluce Ah I see.. I had put in "Dan Taylor", so I guess Dan Tasylor. But the more I listen to Chance, Bowman, Jaroussky and that "haute-contre" French guy (name escapes me), the more I am unsure. And I still like Andreas Scholl.
@pianomags I can understand you, it's difficult to choose your favourite number one from true artists. It's OK to prefer Andreas Scholl. He is not my favourite voice but I like him too. I guess the "French guy" you mean is Christophe Dumaux. But the best French countertenor, a stunning artist is Gerard Lesne. But, please don't put among these true artists Philippe Jaroussky - that promoted nonentity and nothing else! Singing is about moving the heart, not just producing sweet emptly sounds!
Very, very beautiful! Exquisite voices of two great artists! Especially I like Daniel Taylor, who is one of my favourites! Bravo! From which album is it? Thanks for posting.
Thanks for your comments. I've posted a link to the Amazon mp3 store where you can buy this song from. As far as I know, this may be the best rendition you can find in mp3 format. But I prefer Michael Chance & David Cordier's 1993 version. It sounds more natural and beautiful. Unfortunately, I don't have the CD with me, since I'm away from home. :(
@arpeggio1358 It's wonderful to meet again!:-) I guess it's because we have similar tastes in music and often listen to the same stuff:-) Though it's interesting too when our opinions on other artists are different. Sharing opinions is wonderful. This world would be a very boring place if we all liked absolutely the same!:-) What would be to discuss and argue about?!:-)
@serenaluce It's quite wonderful to have a friend with whom to share ideas and opinions. We do have similar tastes, but it'sd nice to know that we can disagree amicably too.
@serenaluce Isn't it delightful to hear two countertenors in this lovely duet? I like both Taylor and bowman as soloists, but this combination of their talents is quite exquisite.
@arpeggio1358 Wow, these are my own words! It's exactly what I wrote to some of my friends when I shared this video with them!:-) That this duet of 2 great countertenors is exquisite! And a combination of 2 countertenors at all is exquisite! You used the same words!:-)
Is there anywhere I can get an SATB version of this?

How fortunate I was to be at a concert given by these two truly gentlemen. Their voices interwinded in a such lovely way.
