The only Slipknot albums worth listening to are the first two Roadrunner releases. I think they sound like THIS now 'cause they're becoming old men.

Joey isn't playing to his potential. I think he can do so much better than slipknot at this point. I like him best in Slipknots self titled release and the Anal Blast demo back in '94.

Apparently people still dig their newer stuff. Although, it isn't what got them on the charts in the first place.

personally i think bands (such as linkin park and slipknot) tend to get bored doing the same sort of music all the time. plus the lead singer wasnt origonally a screamer, he only sreamed because thats what the rest of the band wanted him to be. which is why he doesnt usually scream live.

I have to agree with alot of people that say that the bands new album sucks. It really does.

It is just like comparing Deaths "Scream Bloody Gore" album to their last "The Sound of Perseverance." Only difference is it got from good to perfect from start to end. With Slipknot and same with even Linkin Park, their first albums both were best, and as more album released their music started "evolving" which i tend to call, started to turn to shit.

It is rather a drag on the metal industry.
