  • <3 xxx

  • When did Music videos lose it's soul. Was it that hard to make videos that were great to watch?

  • This is a cute video, and a great song.

  • My capacity to feel emotion is increased greatly by just the sound of your voice Natalie. Could never thank you enough.

  • Sick video! Beutiful singer.N M Rules

  • I LoVe tHiS SoNg!

  • creepy lady awwwww. she scares me i want my mommy

  • Yes, while the quality is not so great, I love the video- gives a whole new meaning to the song.

  • Where are the lyrics found to this song?

  • sweet song

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS UPLOAD!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • bad quality.. NOT original!

  • @denarjensen original as in video specifically made for song ie: not live performance or picture collage.

as for quality im very sorry but i did not have a dvd recorder 20 years ago

  • @CFOGO Don't worry about it...that guy is crying over spilt milk. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! I along with many others thank you for this. Talk about great music.

  • @lambyiii im not worried. i was being sarcastic with him.tnx anyway

  • @CFOGO even MTV doesn't have a top quality video of it...probably have to re-record the master to digital

  • @CFOGO Thanks so much for uploading this!! It takes me back to the days when MTV/VH1, actually played REAL music videos. As for not having a dvd recorder 20 yrs.ago, I don't think they were invented.I remember back in 1979,when those newfangled vcr's came out and sold for $250.Nobody in my neighborhood could afford one. This is a great video!

  • que buen video de los maniacs, perfecto en el dia de las madres

  • The 240 maniacs are trouble . . . along with AI Comment Moderation Policies.

  • :D

  • Thanks so much for this class post! This classic song always clears my head and warms me every time I listen to it. And the video, as beautiful and inspiring as it is, does it a great justice!

  • Bellissima canzone e poetico il testo! SUPER!!!

  • The message was powerful. I heard it as the words of Jesus and how He wants to be there for us, we just need to talk to Him (to pray), to include Him in all that we are and all that we do. And what a sweet video. How wonderful to be there for each other. To take the time to care.

  • @StubbiJacksonPickut1 : I like that you noticed that. My thoughts exactly.

  • @StubbiJacksonPickut1, Nice post, my thoughts exactly.

  • I hope that when I'm a little old lady, I'll have such a sweetie like Natalie to take me out on a long awaited bike ride and such! :) I try to do something of that nature for my mom! She mostly welcomes it if not at first LOL

  • oh look, back when MTV played music

  • @Anglynn74 Natalie was awesome back then..too.

  • Still there :) M.

  • always speaks to me

  • love this song, love the lyrics to this song

  • this and Clair de lune by Debussy give me shivers every time I hear them. What a voice Natalie has...... what a gift to the hearing world.

  • This song is laid back and makes you wonder how good life is.

  • This is one of my all-time favorite songs. The band at my Catholic church plays this during the "rock masses" (popular songs with a message, such as this one, are played instead of the traditional church songs.)

  • I recently had someone say this song reminds them of me.. It was a wonderful compliment.

  • @22gameguy -- get a life, why would i need that . . . all I need is this helmet and this lamp and this ashtray . . .no not the lamp and ashtray, just this helmet. Who needs a life when I have my helmet.

  • one of my top ten fave guitar solos.

  • Soooooooo 90's. Miss this vibe.

  • I so love the singer; class is the foundation of sexiness...

  • The looks and voice of an angel. I saw them at SDSU in San Diego CA...One of the best concerts Ive ever seen...Natalie is beautiful...

  • Classic song, beautiful voice. Still a bit upset Natalie went on to a successful solo career but 99,999 Maniacs didn't have any hits without her. Verdi Cries another gem, but this was the song that got her in our hearts. "with a 'there, there, now; stop your turnin' and tossin'"

  • The Trouble Me origional video was shot in the historic Athenaeum Hotel at Chautauqua Institution. Natalie Merchant will be returning once again to Chautauqua July 8, 2011

  • she should have put a helmet on grandma before putting here on the back of the bicycle

  • @actionjackson402 Helmet police?! Are you kidding? Get a life!

  • Her voice is silky sweet ! luv it

  • I wouldn't let my grandma hang out with a maniac.

  • work that hat girl!! yowza

  • this video is a true gift. thanx for uploading it!

  • Something so charming yet sexy about that HAT. She's good!

  • I have always thought she was a gorgeous chick. You aren't alone there, Jeff.

  • Right on Jeff , me too, big time and still do

  • I may be wrong but didn't she have the perfect op at :46 to drop Granny off the bridge into the drink? Something the Ice Princess certainly considered. Face it, the last thang NM wants is YOU to burden HER. Sweet song but have someone with true selflessness perform it. Is it true you didn't show at RB's funeral? 'nuff said...

  • @Greasydawg: what's her (or your imagined) explanation for that? I don't think it was just because she was busy.

  • i love Natalie"s voice i love this song i love the lyrics and i love her hat in this video it is so cool!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • natalie is the best...her voice is what makes her sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy and hot..well in a manner of speaking that is. i love her sweetness in songs she sings. its true profound believably awesome.

  • My mom is a nurse and always said this song is what she feels it means to be a nurse...going through nursing school myself, I finally understand. I love this song.

  • Natalie rocks! Even in a slow song. It's shows how compassionate she is, a look into her soul. She deserves so much more recognition...

  • NIce. I'm melting inside. For me, 10000 Maniacs was religion.

  • Every song on the Blind Man's Zoo album is underrated. Everyone talks about Our Time in Eden being their best album though.

  • @Grapes428 agree,Blind Man's Zoo are one of my favorite albums ever.....more than In My Tribe.....

  • Is there a place to download a high quality version of this video? Would be nice to have.

  • There is an element of kindness in much Natalie's work-genuine kindness-not the sentimental kind, and always-an aura of peace. She seems to be more evolved than most of us-and because of that, something eternal and beautiful moves through her voice.

  • thanks, I had no idea there was video for my favorite song.

I'll assume the magic comes from that ridiculous hat Natalie is wearing.

  • Love the song...always love anything Natalie Merchant sings...so talented!

  • wow, what a voice :)

  • A truly beautiful song.

  • Awesome song...and yea I happen to think she's sexy too..in many ways

  • @xxdash07xx The vocalist or the senior citizen (cause that is one hot old lady)?

  • @bullballsallday ok,ok...both maybe..but shhh

  • thank you

  • Her best Version. The elderly are the most forgotten group on the planet.

  • What a sweet video!

  • @Sue71 I agree!!

  • Actually, a fair amount of dudes think she's sexy...

  • I love this song myself. I think that cracks the guys up though. I had the super crush on Natalie Merchant while I was in the military and all of the guys harassed me about that. There's just a sexiness about her that really gets to me.

  • @jeffperry1134 Yeah She does have a certain Sexiness to her.

  • @jeffperry1134 Hahaha, my ex-wife banned the 10000 maniacs from the house for the same reason.

  • @jeffperry1134 Indeed! I discovered 10,000 Maniacs 20 years ago while serving in the Air Force. Natalie has an elegance and beauty about her that few other performers can reach. Take Lady Gaga and toss her into the dumpster. She's a no-talent hack.

  • @jeffperry1134 ...so why would guys harass you because you like Natalie Merchant?

  • @jeffperry1134 ...As a woman myself.i see such a natural beauty that radiates from inside out,so pure!!

  • Nice :)
