I have the same at home! It is an old recording of the sonata, conducted by Karl Richter, with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Antonia Fahberg, Kieth Engen, and.... the Münchener Bach-Chor... so it is not a French-speaking choir. ;)
Hm... I must say I changed my opinion in the meantime. At first I thought their pronunciation of the German sounded French, but this week I've met a Viennese woman who I thought to be French as well, judging on the pronunciation of her German! :)
Still, the only thing that convinces me they are not German-speaking (but perhaps French), is the "u" in "verschwunden". Listen!
That's funny! Unfortunately I don't know enough about German or French to notice the differences. :/ As the joke goes, you call someone that knows one language an American. :D
