I also am sick of lukewarm Christians, esp those who say things like, "I don't need to attend church", or "I know that God is in my heart and I feel that what I am doing is right"....etc worse when it is close family. I just think if your path is to preach you should also help people in the dark and not seperate yourself away from people who are not like you. As Scripture says, there is a "Lake of Fire" and "Gehenna" (which has been translated hell).

Gehenna was the Garbage dump south of Jerusalem where dead carcasses were burned and consumed.

What Scriptures DOES NOT say is that God grants eternal consciousness/life to the deceased unbeliever and torment them for eternity.

The Scriptures DO say is that those who die, sleep, and await their appointed resurrection by Mashiach. Some resurrected to life, and others to death.

Death (the actual process of death upon which gives up their spirit/life-force) and hell (Hades - The Grave/abode of the dead) will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which signifies that both death and the abode of the dead - the grave, will be done away with...

If there is no more death, morgues and grave-yards would go out of business... Because God will do away with death itself, so shall hades/sheol be done away with.

@DeathUntoLife What I mean to say is in the end death and hell will give up the dead that is in them, then they will be thrown in the lake of fire. Then those who stand before the thrown of judgement shall be judged and if their names are not found written in the book of life they are thrown into the lake of fire. So essentially you are saying that when sinners die they do not exist until they are brought back into existed to be thrown back into non-existence.

Yes, that is essentially what I am saying. However, many of those who rise @ the second resurrection will be find mercy through faith in YahuShua and repentance welling up in their hearts... Remember, only those not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire -eternal non-existence. Unfortunately, this will be a large multitude of people, but also many of the second resurrection will inherit eternal life.

I can't force my "Christian" family to believe the Christian Bible, you're right. However, that will not prevent me from being obedient to the Scriptures, in letting them know where they stand by me being separate from them.
