and the stuff that the protagonists have gone through... that's already happened, even without the metal gear. it stems from a corrupt government. soldiers are used every day, just like the boss, big boss, and snake.

just be thankful that big-dog is only for transporting goods... for now.

@DrMopZodiac No the Pupa is not based on a metal gear. Chrayalis-Cacoon-Pupa are based on Metamorphis which brings you to a butterfly (peacewalker) Only pace walker is based on a metal gear. Pupa is based on the machines that appear on MGS. 3.

Huey said he stole Sokolov's Shagohod designs, but most of his work was based on Granin's designs, which were obviously Metal Gears (If you look closely at MGS3, you will see the portraits of REX and RAY in his plans).Besides, Peace Walker's a Bipedal Tank. It's another type of Metal Gear. Gekkos are also Metal Gears, without missiles. You may even call them Mini-Gear lolz!. If Mk. II was counted as MG, so are Gekkos.
