if you have a reputable shop do it like i had with mine....a lot, lol.
motor swap hardwares ~$5500
labor varies but a grand or 2 (including wiring)
this car eventually got a 6spd and that was $3300 for hardwares + $500 labor
acceleration for 6spd was about the same as the 5spd AFTER the 6spd had a stage 2 and tuned motor (picked up 65whp/85wtq). the 5spd gearing and weight saving really move this car out...
fuck that was going up so fast i thought the speedo was in kp/h haha. damn man nice work. how much is an sti swap or even a wrx swap like that run with all the tuning and what not?
