How to open the console?

Once you load that map you can exit out and start a new game or load the level you're currently at. You cannot start a game, enable cheats and continue that same game. god 1, demigod 1, noclip 1, sf_use_ignoreammo 1, notarget 1 are some of the cheats you can use. Best for making machinima or having fun because the game gets pretty boring with cheats.

If you look at the "box" it is the level barrier. It takes however long the count down clock to reach zero, for the plane to reach the end of the map. LOL, pretty cool, and the level is pretty dumb when you see how confined you are. It is also funny how you can keep falling right out of the level, and see the entire level itself.
