How do you get the "ingelligence bricks" to communicate when making remote controls? is it possible to make one of the yellow ones like the ones in this video function as a remote control for one from the mindstorms nxt kit?

@lovetohate12 Those yellow things are called a RCX, it is possible to communicate between the NXT brick and the RCX, but you need an infrared sensor for your NXT brick

and remote control probably was done with Bluetooth. My computer has Bluetooth so I can control my NXT from my laptop

RCX Code and ROBOLAB both are provided by lego but you can use 3rd party PL's like C++, C, java and even visual basic
