The actions scenes are brilliant, lots going on, and the story keeps you glued to the screen throughout. I'd definitely recommend this animation, in fact I've seen it a couple of times now at freecartoons for free, and it always keeps me entertained. The best thing about it is the convincing acting!!

Odin? Asgard? Loki? badass!must...do...research" and what do you find after that? Viking history, Valhalla, Mjölnir,Ragnarok, etc... t's simply genius.

@countdouchebag1 In a extremely americanized hollywood version. I respect the different interpretations but I personally just don't think they catch the Nordic atmosphere at all. They turn bifrost, the rainbow bridge, into a golden space machine that can destroy planets if overloaded. Valhall becomes a cold melancholic place where I personally wouldn't find the mood for drinking and partying rather than studying. The whole origin of the universe of the Nordic mythology is so primitive which is

Personally I like this art direction/animation style as much as I like, say, Young Justice's quality.

The animation is obviously far worse, but the detail outmatches even the greatest fully animated feature.

Fair trade-off... this would make a great TV series.

@nymshade They didn't do this lazy. This is HANDS down the highest quality motion comic made yet. It's so good it's ALMOST an animation. To fully animate this story would cost a shitton more, and they're not going to invest that cash into this story, mainly because it's a mature story about Loki, not a very high demand for that.

Plus there's already a Thor fully animated movie soon to be released.

But the bottom line is, that unless conditions were just right, they would have a very hard time finding an audience to make up for the big money that would cost them. It just WON'T happen. Motion comic form is pretty much the only way we'll ever see something like this, and I'm surprised they had the guts to even invest in this!

As far as I'm concerned the choice between Thor the god of War and Loki the trickster is a FALSE one that the Powers that Be would love to sell an increasingly brainwashed public...as usual. I would have hoped BOTH would have been rejected by now...in favor of Baldur...the god of love, reborn to lead humanity to a New Earth free from War and disease...the only god from the Nordic Pantheon to survive Ragnarok.

@TheEvildoomsday It essentially is. It's from Loki's POV. Loki is painted as the "bad" one, when, thu Loki's eyes, Thor, was always his tormentor and Odin treated him less than. It's interesting to get his viewpoint. In this production, he doesn't seem evil at all, just misunderstood, probably due to Thor and Odin's widespread dissemination that he is wicked and unruly. I did not know that Odin killed Loki's father. That fact alone may have much to do with his rebellion.

@TheEvildoomsday This comic is about Loki...when it was originally published awhile back that was the selling point. That Loki had finally taken Asgard for himself and won...and it was a great comic. Esad Ribic's art is nothing less then stunning. Pick up the comic if you can or just watch the motion comic coming out...its literally the comic with the same art but altered to be presented with motion and effects. good stuff man!
