Right...with Big Ben getting about as fragile as the 'real Big Ben' is old. The Steelers won't being done so hot when he goes down. Don't get me wrong if he goes down, you got Leftwich who is decent, but come on. I love how people bring up past championships and think it means everything. While it does mean something...a past. It has no presence with the "present". You're talking about past teams when only what is in front of you now is what matters. The Bears and Broncos are prime examples.

As i recall he played evry snap for pittsburgh last year. and we only signed leftwich until batch gets healthy again. And the past does mean something cuz u build of ur success from the last season which the steelers have had alot of successful seasons. If u ask me the Steelers are a heavy fav 2 go 2 the super bowl

I say the Bears and Broncos because you are bringing up past Superbowl wins. It's true you build off success, but in a game the past is nothing and only the present matters. That was proven by the Colts. Looking at the past who would have thought the Colts would go nearly undefeated? That's my point, they past is just that. The past. A completely different team. Just as the Bears and Broncos are different teams from their championship days.

Yeah I understand that. The Bengals also have most of their 2005 team. The problem is/was their main man went down and in came a guy who they were familiar with in a practice setting, but had no bond with his team like CP. And then 06 Carson was scared of his knee. And 07, well lol we all know 07 was just a huge distraction year and a big joke. Had none of those guys got into trouble I think the cincy would have done better.

Yea but still nobody knows how he would have performed. He couldve sucked or done a great job. But Cincy fans act like dats the only reason they lost. Hes only one person out of 53 guys. Their defense didnt step up in that game. and in 06 and 07 they choked. but still i dont think they'll win the division this year cuz of pittsburgh and cleveland making a run

Really though CP going down was the reason they lost. You got a man the whole team revolves around that goes down, and it's like losing a brother. Not to mention Henry going down the next play. They were at a loss. I completely agree 06 and 07 they choked. Although there are circumstances around that. However I think this year it will come down to Cincy and Pittsburgh round 1 again. Lol. I think both teams have got it down this year. Bengals have a new def. coord. and I think they'll step it up.

True the whole team does revolve around CP, but u forgot Cleveland. They went 10-6 jus like Pittsburgh and nearly made the playoffs unlike Cincy. Soif u ask me Pittsburgh wins the division. and its either Cincy or cleveland who takes a wild card spot

Well not the whole post season. I think the AFC North title and wild card will. But u also have New England, Indy, Jacksonville, and San Diego who are all tough and can make a run deep into the playoffs

Big Ben is fragile. He was hurt most of last year wasn't it with a bad thumb and whatever else. Granted yes he took most if not all the snaps, but he was playing hurt. Same thing with years prior, he played hurt. You can only do that for so long until you go down and stay down for a few weeks. Read the pages over at MSN Fox Sports. The "experts" over there are even quoted saying Ben is fragile. And it's not a for sure deal that Leftwich is only around to Batch is better.

I've never had the confidence to say that, but if they stay healthy our D will be top 15 and u kno the offense is top 10 (top 5 IMO)

Anyway, you have to admit, the game would have been much better if he was in. He seemed to be "on" that day. Would we have won? Maybe, maybe not, no one will ever know. Would have have had a better shot then 5-interception Kitna? Absolutely.

Bengals would have swept the Steelers last year if it wasn't for the field goal that Shayne blew. I love how Steelers fans act like they killed the Bengals last year, when in reality they split...and barely won that last game. Bengals straight up outmuscled the Steelers, just made some stupid mistakes that led to a loss. Palmer is the man, the Bengals have the most explosive offense in the NFL, period. You can't argue that, facts are facts. The Bengals have numerous stars, the Steelers have none. This year they've tightened up their defense. Once the Bengals get some minor things worked out, they will surprise a lot of people. And I believe this is their year.

Coming from another Bengal fan I will state this, With Palmer at the Helm instead of Kitna the game would have ended Different no matter what, even if the Bengals still lost or win, stats and plays would have gone different then the way they played out with kitna People have more faith with palmer then kitna, just look at his resume, his stats his playing abilities compared to anyone, he is one of the best if not the best QB right now Kitna is good but not great like Palmer
