I'm on the fence about Religion. People make a good point when they say that it was created to control the masses. From what I've read, the concept of burning in Hell for eternity isn't a Christian teaching, you just go to the grave, and aren't conscious of anything. So making the "fire and brimstone" concept up is a good way to control people. I bet 90% of Christians would abandon their faith if they found out Hell isn't a place of torment.
