My uncle has a diesel generator its not nearly that old you turn the knob and it cranks up no handle turning lol

i hate cranker's because they can kick back and if you leave the stick in too it might shoot out. so basicly they can be dangerous and they are a pain in the ass to crank

kick starting some motor bikes can tweak your leg pretty bad too when they mis-fire backwards. I love it when that happens. it's hard enough to kick-start some of them and then they go and bite you as you are getting tired out. fun!

i did that on my engine it backfired and shot the handle across the garden lucky there was no one in the way

I know what you mean! My Wolseley did the same thing once. The engine backfired with a huge bang and the handle flew off and hit the horse trailer. It was lucky that I got my hand out the way quickly.
