by 2050 there will be more ""Indianmigrants""" than Englishmen and women in England...lol!!!! Scary but you guys will be downstairs while they are Upstairs!!!!!
I agree with you. I loved the vibe in England in the 60s, 70s and 80s. I just returned from a six month visit to London(I am a Brit) I was totally taken aback with how things have changed.
GS Collins - The first track is Amen Corner - Paradise, second; Chris Farlow - Out of Time writted by M Jagger and K Richards (you can hear Jagger at the final choruses, third; Sweets for my Sweet - The Searchers, fourth; Glad All Over - Dave Clark, fifth; Bits and Pieces - Dave Clark, fifth; Gerry & The Pacemaker - How Do You Do It, written by McCartnery & Lennon, sixth; Legend of Xenadu - Dave,Dee, Dozy, Mick and Titch.
Will someone name all these cool songs, Please ? I know some but there are a few I do not recognize. I love dancing & music. If I couldn't have music in my life on a daily basis I'd curl up & sleep.
the beatles were the pussycat dolls of the 60's ...a package band for the masses ...there were many, many bands just as good if not better......listen and open your mind
Actually they were nothing like the Pussycat Dolls. The Beatles, without realising their academic input to music actually rather revolutionised how popular music was written ever after. For a layperson interpretation, youtube search Howard Goodall who does a very good job of explaining how the construction of their works differed quite hugely from the hoi polloi pop music of their time. Its very accessible but educational.
The beatles started out as a packaged group for the masses ...they developed into very talented musicians. There were many other groups of the time that were just as good , if not even better than the beatles.
My comment is simple ......the beatles were packaged....look at their "movies".....pure rubbish aimed at the masses...solely to sell records....it was only in latter years that they developed both as a group and then individually into "talented musicians and songwriters"
Novo you are an idiot and if you lived at the time the Beatles came to the states you must have been in a coma as like Elvis they changed the world in so many ways,if you were born later you have no way to understand what they did because NO ONE has done musically what the Beatles have done, everyone knows the name of all the Beatles the world around, you likely can't even name the stones or pussy cats,,what a fool. they only really recorded for 7 years and 40 years later they outsell most groups
@JJMFB1 the beatles are the best 60's group band ever and paul is still going come on people how many people world wide have beatles tunes cds dvds etc better than elvis any day of the week yes the movies where pants but elvis films were crap to he could nt act for toffee and you all know it
I think you need to listen to ALL the groups of the 60's before you make comments like this. How many of their records still stand up today apart from ones by John Lennon.
The Beatles were inspirational, they led the way for so many of the bands which were considered great even till this day, their influence is apparant. Maybe you need to open your mind! Your comparison to the Pussycat Dolls is just stupid, are they talented musicians and songwriters/singers?
