I hear Muslims, Christians and Jews say you need witnesses to prove things, for instance if you want to prove something in court you need one or two witnesses or some even say four, if you have no witnesses then u have no case,curious if anyone else was in the cave with Muhammad when he met the angel. and if not how can Muhammad prove he is a prophet? He did not do what other prophets did and that is prophecy, and im not just talking about one prophecy, to much religion and not enough seeking.

Regarding your reference to the prophet that was to be sent like Moses is Jesus not Mohammed( peace be upon them both). So am I right in saying that you believe that Jesus is a prophet then? because as far as I know, that's not what most Christian if any at all think Jesus was! and I'm pretty sure most believe he was either God or the son of God or one of the holy trinity,(funny because that's not what the Jews thought the Messiah was) therefore the word prophet would not apply to Jesus.

Hi, all Christians affirm Christ's mission is threefold: Priest, Prophet, and King. Look it up. In Christianity, prophet is not a rank like in Islam, a prophet is anybody who reveals the future. So the God of the Old Testament is a prophet, because He reveals the future. So too, Jesus is both God and man and Prophet, because He reveals the future.

As for contradictions, I believe any book can be interpreted in a hundred ways, so many of those interpretations are not contradictory with science.

"Jesus is both God and man and Prophet" if this is true then why does it say in Numbers 23,19 "God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"

As for contradictions in the NT,Dr Bart Ehrman a Grade A new test scholar has a said there are contradictions in the NT & gives evidence, check out his vid's.

These passages you cited are not erroneous, but supernatural. God, through the holy water, reveals adultery. There are no contradictions in the Bible, because it is impossible for a contradiction to exist in any book, have you not read any epistemology books? If a statement in one verse contradicts something in modern day science then that would qualify as a contradiction, as it contradicts proven science so how can there be no book that contradicts.The bible says the world was made in 6 days, that's a contradiction. As for Mark 16:17-18, the Scripture says:

"And these signs shall follow them that believe;"

It does not say "And these signs shall follow ALL them that believe;". Some Christians have done miracles, for example, St. Augustine of Hippo cured a sick man.

Much of the Old Testament is symbolic. "Pillars" symbolically prophecies the Apostles, and "the Earth" symbolizes the Gentiles.

So, 1 Samuel 2:8 says the Apostles of the Gentiles are the LORD's, and the Gentiles enter into the Kingdom of Heaven through the Apostles.

Job 9:6 says the Gentiles will be shaken from unbelief to belief, and this will cause the Apostles to tremble with joy.

Psalm 75:3 says the Gentiles and Jews will become 1 dissolved people in Christ Jesus, because of the Apostles.

If we're going to look at Muhammad historically, why not start with what you brought up, Bahira the monk. Since we know Bahira was an Ebionite, and the Ebionites used the Tanakh and a slightly altered Gospel of Matthew, can you show me where his books spoke of a cupping glass marking indicating a prophet?

If not, whose to say that the early Muslims weren't making up prophesies as they went along?

But then again what you have to realize is that today the original Bible does not cease to exist. Could it have been that there were other passages in the ORGINAL TEXT which gave of such signs!? I mean, today's Bible is compiled with translations of translations. If you know anything about literature, you would know that when texts are translated their meanings sometime COMPLETELY CHANGE.
