They released one single that was kinda no-waveish in 78 but that was before Milo joined

All was the band that got me into punk back in 94. The Descendants naturally followed (even though they were around first I know) Bill Stevenson's drumming is so good... Listen to how he plays on this song. He plays for the music and doesn't just play the same thing through; rather he plays to match the singer and the guitar. A true musician.

@JosephCee Hardcore Punk! Its faster, grittier, and short. Bands such as Bad Brains, Gorilla Biscuits, Blacks Flag, and Minor Threat. Origins of Punk Hardcore I believe would be "The Middle Class". Check them out, and search up The Middle Class - Out of Vogue. Hope that Helps.
