How terrible it is if my left brain has nothing right and right brain has nothing left. Follow TravelKing111's advice and pick up ICT. Train our brains, keep smart and healthy!
For instance, some people after a certain age, tend to stay home most of the time and allow their spouses to handle "external affairs" and unexpected problems that require extraordinary effort to solve. When they do that, they allow their new brain cells to die, according to the neurogenesis researchers. I think these kind of behavior leads to more cases of brain diseases, including Alzheimer's. Bravo to Travelking111 for creating and publishing this poem of great public health interest!
I did not know that Alzheimer's could be prevented with something as simple as mental stimulation. I'll remind my older relatives to stay mentally fit for sure.
I understand the need to make the connection between saving the new brain cells and complex learning tasks, before detailed medical studies can be completed for humans because the poem is mainly for public service and the disease is widespread and growing!
I did not know about the new brain cells....

Always a fan of science meets poetry. The third stanza is my favorite. What is ITC?

I try to use my new brain cells by challenging myself to more and more difficult levels of virtualization. Thank you for the advice!

If a person can save his/her brain cells, s/he will live without brain disease until s/he pass away.
